15 Arrests In Georgia: Democrat State Senator Arrested At Capitol In Vote-Count Fiasco

Atlanta Democrat state senator Nikema Williams of District 39 was arrested Tuesday, the day before another expected court ruling on absentee ballots.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Tuesday: “State Sen. Nikema Williams, D-Atlanta, said she was standing with her constituents when officers led her out of the Capitol rotunda and placed plastic restraints on her wrists.“I was not yelling. I was not chanting,” she said. “I stood peacefully next to my constituents because they wanted their voices to be heard, and now I’m being arrested.” Williams said she was handcuffed after she “refused to disperse” from the rotunda.”Atlanta Journal-Constitution passage ends

Of course, the Georgia Democrats are accused of many more criminal actions during this Election and election overtime period, in which Brian Kemp is still going through the daily transition activities of the Governor-Elect. Gwinnett County — which can not statistically affect the outcome or trigger a recount — is certifying its vote by Thursday after multiple last-ditch lawsuits by Democrats to include ballots from non-county residents and people without a listed birth year.
