Dem Presidential Candidate Vows to Appoint Subordinate Woman as Vice President

A Congressman and 2020 Democratic Party presidential candidate vowed in a Tuesday Tweet to hire appoint a female to be his subordinate running mate.

“SPOILER ALERT: I’m a white man. I know where I can’t speak to someone else’s experience and I pledge to: (1)Pass the mic (2) Ask a woman to serve as VP,” Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) said on Twitter.

He attached a clip of himself being interviewed on MSNBC.

“I don’t think anyone’s identity should hold them back,” Swalwell said. “But I think the next President should see all races, all identities, but recognize where you can’t speak for someone else’s experience, and pass the mic to someone who can.”

Many found Swalwell’s comments condescending, rather than exemplary.

“If a woman can’t earn something on her own accord….then it’s just a condescending token of misplaced charity,” said conservative actress Mindy Robinson.

“This is the most patronizing insulting bunch of crap ever, and you and sound like complete tools when you talk this way. So….,” said Chicks on the Right, a conservative news website.

Swalwell’s chances of winning the presidency are slim – and that’s likely an overstatement. He is not currently polling in the top eight primary candidates in any poll. A member of the House of Representatives has not been elected to the presidency since James Garfield in 1880.

Additionally, Swalwell has threatened to use nuclear weapons on United States citizens, and spent years promulgating the bogus Russian “collusion” narrative.
