DEMOCRAT Rep. Max Rose Dubs “Utter Disgrace” Bill de Blasio “Worst Mayor in History”

New York Congressman Max Rose, who represents Staten Island(part of New York City) as a moderate Democrat, called NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio the worst mayor in American history during an appearance on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom on Friday.
“This mayor is not only the worst mayor in the history of New York City, he’s the worst mayor in the history of his country.”
Rose pointed to the city’s (lack) of a plan to reopen municipal schools in the fall. Rose is taking fault with what he calls De Blasio’s substanceless plan, referring to it as more of a “prayer” than a concrete plan to reopen schools. The city is planning some sort of fusion between in-person and remote education, and Rose is claiming that the mayor is failing to account for necessary testing and medical supplies that will be required for the task of resuming in-person education.
“Nothing can replace leadership, and I don’t blame anyone — to include teachers, parents, families — for not having faith in this mayor right now. It is an utter disgrace.”
Rose pointed to De Blasio’s refusal to coordinate with the federal government to secure necessary supplies, most notably masks and personal protective equipment. He’s not the only left-leaning New Yorker to sour on the leadership of De Blasio, with polls indicating that as many as 3 of 4 city residents disapprove of his mayoral leadership.
De Blasio and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo have overseen the worst outbreak of the coronavirus disease in the entire democratic world, but it hasn’t stopped the Democrats from smugly lecturing other American states that have incurred far less coronavirus cases and deaths than New York City.
