Devin Nunes: No ‘Republicans Or Any American Should Be Celebrating’ Until ‘Bad Cops’ Get Punished

While most conservatives are jumping for joy following the end of FBI spook Robert Mueller’s Russian collusion investigation which cleared President Trump of any wrongdoing, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) remains focused on making sure “bad cops” within the deep state are brought to justice after perpetrating this costly fraud on the American public.

Nunes said on Friday that the official end of Mueller’s special investigation marks “the unraveling of the biggest scandal in American history, the biggest political scandal in American history.” Much more work needs to be done before this dark, embarrassing chapter of US history can come to a close.

He spoke to Fox News on Saturday evening to explain to conservatives why they must not take their eye off the ball. There are still many questions that need to be answered before the rule of law can be fully restored.

“I don’t think Republicans or any American should be celebrating anything to do with Mueller. Okay? It’s fine. He’s not going to indict anymore people. There are a whole bunch of indictments that are awful. What happened to these people is terrible. We need to see the origins of this investigation. We don’t even know what Robert Mueller was supposed to be looking at,” Nunes told Fox News.

“We are working on a criminal referral, so many of the dirty cops, people will find out who actually we believe those dirty cops are. We’ll be sending that to Attorney General Barr among other names I think people will be surprised at,” Nunes added.

Emerging as one of Trump’s most articulate and credible advocates in the US House, Nunes has been a lightning rod for criticism from the left. He was maligned for years by vicious partisans of the left, and he has now been vindicated for standing strong for the President.

The diligent public servant is not taking a victory lap or resting on his laurels. He is taking his immense credibility and using it to advance forward against the leftist enemies of America.

“What we really need to see is what was the FBI’s involvement with fusion GPS. Who did they know about? I don’t want to gloss over this for the viewers but Fusion GPS was essentially the Hillary Clinton campaign, they were hired by the Clinton campaign so we need to see all of that and need the FISA fully disclosed. We need everyone that Mueller talked to, including his interactions with Jerome Corsi who you just had on the show,” Nunes said during an appearance on ‘Fox and Friends’ Sunday morning.

Attorney General William Barr claimed that Mueller “issued more than 2,800 subpoenas, executed nearly 500 search warrants, … made 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence, and interviewed approximately 500 witnesses” only not to find any hard evidence of collusion between President Trump and the Russians.

This entire fiasco will be remembered as McCarthyism on steroids, and Nunes remains vigilant in Congress working that all of those responsible will be put to justice. He is showing the resolve needed to fully drain the swamp.
