Illegal Accused of Raping Seven-Year-Old

An El Salvadoran illegal alien living in Virginia was arrested late last week for raping a seven-year-old child.

“On Thursday, Culpeper Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Oscar Ramirez, 33, of Culpeper, for the rape of a seven-year-old girl, which reportedly occurred between April 6 and 7,” according to WTVR.

Ramirez was charged with a single count of Rape of a Child younger than 13. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed a detainer on him for failing to appear at an immigration hearing in 2006. America’s illegal immigration process often allows for illegal aliens caught crossing the border to be set free while they await hearings in immigration courts.

“He will be deported to his home country of El Salvador after his legal proceedings in Culpeper are completed and any potential prison sentence has been served,” the report said.

Ramirez’s arrest comes amid tension in Washington, D.C. over border security. Neither party has shown willingness fix America’s immigration system, which currently allows thousands of people to pour over the border unfettered daily.

Trump declared a National Emergency to address the issue, with plans to diver Department of Defense funding for the project, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration.

In what many conservatives see as a colossal failure, the Republican Congress, led by former House Speaker Paul Ryan, current House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), failed to deliver wall funding to the president’s desk during all of 2017 and 2018, when Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House.
