Joe Biden Finally Admits that a Crisis is Taking Place at the Border

For months, the Biden administration and its media cheerleaders have downplayed the crisis at the southern border — a tumultuous situation that has magnified in scope after the 2020 election.

Now reality has struck Biden in the face, demonstrated by his recent description of what’s happening at the border as a “crisis.”

During a Q&A with reporters in Wilmington, Delaware on April 17, 2021 after his first game of golf as president, Biden declared,“We’re going to increase the number [of refugees allowed into the country],” and he added that “The problem was that the refugee part was working on the crisis that ended up on the border with young people.”

“We couldn’t do two things at once,” Biden stated. “But now we are going to increase the number.”

The New York Post provided some context to Biden’s recent remarks:

In his somewhat garbled comment, Biden seemed to be saying that the strain of handling the influx of migrant children has overtaxed the nation’s immigration authorities — making it impossible for them to handle an increase in authorized refugees as well.

On Friday, hours after Biden signed an executive order retaining the Trump administration’s 15,000-person cap on refugee admissions for this year, White House press secretary Jen Psaki issued a hasty announcement saying that the White House will unveil an undisclosed higher cap on May 15.

The sudden switcheroo came after progressive Democrats, led by Reps. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), excoriated the initial decision on social media.

Better late than never, I guess.

Tyler Durden of ZeroHedge pointed out some of the recent increases in illegal alien arrests at the border:

In March alone, 172,000 migrants were arrested after illegally entering the United States – a 15-year record which has overwhelmed US Customs and Border Patrol.

Biden is the woke capital figurehead. The corporations that helped install him in office have a ravenous appetite for cheap labor and now they’re expecting Biden to repay them through relaxed border policies.

While the labor may be cheap, the cost it will impose on society will be massive.
