New York Young Republicans Leader Vish Burra Invokes Spirit of General Sherman for the War Against Democrats

A speech by New York Young Republicans vice president Vish Burra is rapidly going viral in which the Special Operations Director for Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) laid out his vision of war-time conservatism.

At the New York Young Republican Club’s 109th annual gala, Burra spoke about the radical agenda of the far-left and vowed that his group would never comply.

“That is the future they want for you, the longhouse of the savages, an existence mired in the filth of the primordial man, a dystopia run by the godless, mocking the Lord’s plague by making us feast on the locust in response to the famine that they create,” Burra said.

“I am here tonight to stand with all of you. We will not live in the pods. We will not eat the bugs. We will not drink the soy, and to show them that we mean business, perhaps the Yanks need to get their groove back and lead the Union to defeat the globalist vocation of enslaving nations,” he continued.

“And if you are ever in doubt on how to win, how to defeat this encroaching tyranny through the everyday hustle of facing off against the high-tech struggle sessions of the online mobs that will inevitably lead to the high-tech lynchings as Clarence Thomas so eloquently described it in his face off against President Joe Biden,” Burra added.

Burra then quoted legendary Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman in saying: “War is the remedy our enemies have chosen. Other simple remedies were within their choice. You know it and they know it, but they wanted war, and I say let us give them all they want: not a word of argument, not a sign of let up, no cave in till we are whipped or they are.”

Burra advocated that modern conservatives adopt Sherman’s ruthless tactics toward their political foes before introducing the “violently based” Texas gubernatorial candidate Allen West.

The raucous display of ferocious right-wing thought was enough to trigger the reporter assigned to the event from NYMag who showed up and interviewed A-list attendees such as former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe, Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis, and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ).

“The whole thing felt like a cross between an Ayn Rand novel and Vile Bodies. But there was nothing particularly bright about these young things. If this really is the future of their party, it’s dark,” NYMag reporter Shawn McCreesh wrote about the NYYR gala.

The liberal media is troubled by the work of the NYYR, which suggests that they are hitting the mark. Burra’s vision for war-time conservatism, if actualized, will make the Republican Party much more formidable and give America a real chance to be great once again.
