Rep. Matt Gaetz Demands Answers on FBI Infiltration of Militia Groups Heading into Jan. 6 Capitol Demonstration

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) issued a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray on Wednesday demanding information about federal infiltration of militia and patriot groups in the lead-up to the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol protest that turned violent.

Gaetz said: “As the events of January 6, 2021, come to clearer relief many questions remain unanswered. On June 8, 2021, the Senate Homeland Security Committee and the Senate Rules Committee jointly produced a 95-page report finding problems ranging from ‘federal agencies failing to warn of a potential for violence, to a lack of planning and preparation by U.S. Capitol police and law enforcement leadership.’”

He posed the following three questions to Wray, demanding a written response by Aug. 1, 2021:

1. In the year leading up to the events on 1/6 and on 1/6 itself, to what extent were the three primary militia groups (the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters) infiltrated by agencies of the federal government (including the FBI), or informants of said agencies?

2. Exactly how many federal undercover agents or confidential informants were present at the Capitol or in the Capitol during the “siege” and what roles did they play (merely passive informants or active instigators)?

3. Of all the unindicted co-conspirators referenced in the charging documents of those indicted for crimes on 1/6, how many worked as a confidential informant or as an undercover operative for the federal government (FBI, Army, Counterintelligence, etc.)?

The letter comes after a powerful segment on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight where Revolver News publisher Darren Beattie explained possible federal infiltration causing the violence on Jan. 6 while connecting the incident to the phony kidnapping hoax of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Gaetz posted the clip on his Twitter account:

Big League Politics has reported extensively on the Whitmer hoax which involved informants being paid off to essentially entrap patriots enraged over her Draconian, murderous COVID lockdown policies:

The feds are now indicting their own informant as the phony kidnapping case promulgated against Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer fizzles out.

Stephen Robeson, a 58-year-old Wisconsin resident, is being thrown under the bus after cooperating with feds to help set up this dubious plot based on the drunken chatter of anti-government “Boogaloo Boys” enraged with Whitmer’s lockdown policies.

Robeson helped to stir up the Wolverine Watchmen group with violent and extremist rhetoric for months. The feds strategically waited until Oct. 2020, with these supposed insurrectionists allowed to roam free for many months, in an attempt to tie former President Trump to the alleged behavior of these militants right before the election.

Court documents indicate that Robeson came in contact with the militants during a pro-2nd Amendment meeting in Dublin, Ohio. Adam Fox, who has been alleged to be a homeless mentally-ill man, was propped up as the patsy to lead the efforts. Robeson also attended a Northern Michigan tactical training session that prosecutors claim was to prepare for the Whitmer kidnapping.

It is not believed that Robeson was the only federal informant who worked to set up this sting. One informant was paid $8,600 to sell out the group and give the state a pretense to demonize them as domestic terrorists. Robeson’s case shows that the deep state can never be trusted and will throw their informants to the wolves the second they are no longer useful.”

Gaetz is one of the few with the courage stand for the patriots who are being treated like enemy combatants for peacefully protesting on Jan. 6. He is a beacon star of the new America First GOP.
