1776 Project PAC Defeats Purveyors of Anti-White Hate in Miami-Dade School Board Races

The 1776 Project political action committee (PAC), a right-wing education group that opposes anti-white hate, scored high-profile victories in Miami-Dade county on August 23, 2022. The 1776 Project PAC is “dedicated to electing school board members committed to abolishing CRT from the public school curriculum” and saw several of its endorsed candidates win in county school boards in Miami-Dade county in addition to Clay, Duval, Martin, and Sarasota counties.
1776 Project member Aiden Buzzetti tweeted about the PAC’s victories on August 23. He tweeted, “Miami Dade has over 300 THOUSAND students.
We just flipped the school board to conservatives. HUGE WIN TONIGHT!”

As for Miami-Dade county, the 1776 Project PAC endorsed school board candidates Roberto Alonso and Monica Colucci, who won their races, thereby ideologically flipping the entire school board.
The 1776 Project PAC’s Twitter account tweeted, “HUGE: Both of our candidates in Miami Dade County, Florida just WON their elections, flipping the school board conservative. Miami Dade is now the LARGEST county in America with a conservative school board majority. Congrats to Roberto Alonso and Monica Colucci.”

Miami is shaping up to be one of the most fascinating jurisdictions to watch in the era of right-wing populism.
In 2020, Miami-Dade, a county that is 65% Hispanic, only went to Joe Biden by a vote of 53% to 46%. By contrast, Hillary Clinton won the county 63% to 34% in 2016.
America First nationalists should recognize the value of consolidating their political power by picking up seats in local elections. Long-term political success is built gradually in local races, ranging from school boards to city council seats. That’s how robust political machines and networks are created.
It’s ultimately the small things that add up and turn into unstoppable political movements in the long-term. Even if America First candidates lose in federal elections, there are plenty of opportunities for them to shine at the local level. Let’s not allow these opportunities to go to waste because that will only create openings for the Left to exploit and continue their campaign to destroy the Historic American Nation.
