30 Years After Tiananmen Square: China Harvests Organs, Lectures America About Guns

China Harvests Organs Lectures America About Guns

Three decades after the end of the Tiananmen Square protests concluded on June 4, 1989, China has clearly doubled down on its totalitarianism, and is reportedly harvesting organs from dissidents and lecturing the United States about guns.

30 years after “Tank Man” became immortalized for his daring act of protest in Tiananmen Square, in which he brazenly stood in front of a Chinese tank and blocked its progress in the square and earned a place in TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people of the 20th century, the Chinese government appears to have learned nothing from the protest.

The Hill reported today that the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a “travel alert on Tuesday, noting the high numbers of shootings, robberies and thefts in the United States.” Of course, the type of totalitarian nightmare the average Chinese citizen lives under would almost certainly not exist if the country’s citizens had a right to bare arms.

Earlier this week, The New York Post revealed the shocking account of a former medical intern who claims he was part of an organ harvesting team in the communist regime.

The prisoner was brought in, tied hand and foot, but very much alive. The army doctor in charge sliced him open from chest to belly button and exposed his two kidneys. “Cut the veins and arteries,” he told his shocked intern. George did as he was told. Blood spurted everywhere.

The kidneys were placed in an organ-transplant container.

Then the doctor ordered George to remove the man’s eyeballs. Hearing that, the dying prisoner gave him a look of sheer terror, and George froze. “I can’t do it,” he told the doctor, who then quickly scooped out the man’s eyeballs himself.

The Post also reports that between “60,000 and 100,000 organs are transplanted annually”, generating $10 to $20 billion for the Chinese economy.

Worse, 30 years after the Tianenmen Square protests rocked the world, the average Chinese citizen has no idea what happened. The regime has successfully suppressed information about the protests and massacres that occurred to the point of total obscurity.

It might be comical to see the Chinese government mock the United States as it harvests its own citizens’ organs and suppresses information that is common knowledge throughout the West if it were not so horrifying.
