61% of American Counties are now Second Amendment Sanctuaries

According to SanctuaryCounties.com, the majority of counties in the US are now Second Amendment sanctuaries

As of July, there are over 1,900 counties (1930 to be more precise) that are “protected by Second Amendment Sanctuary legislation at either the state or county level,” which constitutes 61% of 3,141 counties and county equivalents throughout the US.

The Second Amendment sanctuary movement is the product of nationwide grassroots campaigns spearheaded by local leaders who promised to not enforce unconstitutional gun control laws that come from the federal or state level.

According to a report by The Center Square, sheriffs are leading the way in defending the Second Amendment in Utah.

“Importantly, the Second Amendment of our divinely inspired Constitution clearly states … ‘the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed,’” read a letter that 29 Utah sheriffs signed on to. “We hereby recognize a significant principle underlying the Second Amendment: the right to keep and bear arms is indispensable to the existence of a free people.”

The current Biden administration has vowed to implement stringent anti-Second Amendment measures. In a recent announcement, Biden proclaimed that the federal government will be targeting lawful firearms dealers all in the name of fighting crime.

Any increased measures to crack down on the Second Amendment will continue to motivate local activists to push their localities and counties to become Second Amendment sanctuaries. As witnessed with people buying guns and ammo in record numbers, there’s a powerful movement brewing within the grassroots.

Despite the brainwashing attempts in the education system and the constant propaganda levied against firearms, Americans still have strong pro-gun inclinations. All told, the Second Amendment remains a powerful issue that the American Right can use to score major political points against the political establishment.
