A Houston Suburb is Infested with Illegal Immigration

Published

Illegal immigration has become a widespread issue in the Lone Star State that is not only confined to border cities. According to a new study by the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF), the area of Liberty County has been plagued by illegal immigration. “A serious concern is that many of the thousands of people moving into the six communities known as Houston El Norte are not lawfully present in the country,” said Ken Oliver, the study’s author. “No one in their right mind wants for that area to become a sanctuary for illegal immigration.”

Oliver told KTRH that the number of illegal aliens residing in Houston El Norte residents is in the thousands at the moment. Oliver argues that this illegal alien presence will further strain county resources, namely the neighboring Cleveland Independent School District. The county and school district are already confronting substantial fiscal and population growth pressures.

The TPPF has shared the report with the Trump administration and Liberty County leaders, encouraging more cooperation with federal immigration authorities. “If there’s any area in the country that needs the cooperation of local, federal, and state law enforcement, it’s that area of Liberty County, where there’s this exponential growth with a lawless element in it,” claimed Oliver.

In conclusion, the report states that curbing illegal immigration will contain unstainable growth and improve American citizens’ quality of life.

“We’ve found that most of the people (in Houston El Norte) are working and contributing to the economy,” said Oliver. “And the people that live in the communities themselves want those bad actors out.”

Texas will need to get serious about immigration.

Mass legal and illegal immigration are changing the state’s demographics in a way that will make the Republican Party irrelevant and bring unprecedented socio-economic tension to the Lone Star State.

Texas elected officials in Congress must wake up to this reality, lest they want to become irrelevant and watch the country become radically transformed.

But a close look at the American Christian church’s plans relating to its name reveal that it’s played with the idea far more seriously than they’re making it seem.

Reports of a name change first emerged in a Washington Post article published on Tuesday. SBC President JD Greear told the Post that “hundreds of churches” affiliated with the denomination had “committed” to using the phrase “Great Commission Baptist” as an alternative to the denomination’s longtime moniker. The change would come as Greear touts his support of the Black Lives Matter, although he’s been careful in pointing out he doesn’t support any formal organization related to the movement. Greear also is renaming the church he personally pastors with the term.

The SBC’s 2021 convention will also organize under the motto of “We Are Great Commission Baptists.” Sounds a lot like a name change, even if the SBC’s leadership is steadfastly maintaining it isn’t.

The name ‘Great Commission Baptist’ is theologically sound in the Christian religion, but it’s somewhat questionable that the organization’s leader appears to be emphasizing it at a moment in which political correctness is making its entryism into many Christian churches and organizations.

It seems as if the organization’s figurehead is keen to present himself as a liberal-style suburban Evangelical to the Washington Post, but he changed his tune quite quickly when the rank and file membership of Southern Baptist churches learned that he was promoting the idea of a name change.
