Alyssa Milano Calls for Abstinence to Fight Conservatives

A former actress turned activist is calling for a “sex strike” in the wake of Georgia’s pro-life heartbeat bill passage, which outlawed abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.

“Our reproductive rights are being erased. Until women have legal control over our own bodies we just cannot risk pregnancy. JOIN ME by not having sex until we get bodily autonomy back. I’m calling for a . Pass it on,” Alyssa Milano said on Twitter.

But conservatives have always preached abstinence. If abstinence was the standard practice – as conservatives have been preaching – there would be no abortions, and thus no need to outlaw them. This irony is apparently lost on Milano.

It was not lost on the conservatives on Twitter, though. Milano’s Tweet sparked a hilarious response.

“I fully support this pro-life cause,” activist Scott Pressler said.

“Don’t let anyone talk you out of this Alyssa. It’s a fantastic idea. Less clients for Planned Parenthood! It’s what we’ve always wanted,” conservative activist Robby Starbuck said.

Even Instagram model Ines Helene joined in the fun.

“Not having sex to own the very people who want you to stop having sex,” she said.

Milano has been the architect of several less-than-brilliant left wing movements. Perhaps most noteworthy, she was vocal during the brief #BelieveAllWomen phase for Democrats, which lasted during the confirmation process of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Conveniently, the political left, including Milano, dropped support for that cause when Big League Politics outed Democrat Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax as an accused rapist, and when 2020 presidential candidate and former vice president Joe Biden was accused of inappropriate contact by several women.
