America First Conservative Mo Brooks Planning Alabama Senate Campaign Announcement on Monday

Alabama Republican Congressman Mo Brooks is planning on announcing his campaign for the US Senate on Monday, in which he’ll aim to replace retiring Senator Richard Shelby.

Brooks will announce his campaign in Huntsville, where he’ll speak with former Trump White House policy advisor Stephen Miller. Miller’s endorsement is highly sought by conservatives advertising their support of President Donald Trump’s “America First” policy vision.

Brooks has a career A+ rating from pro-American immigration reform group NumbersUSA, one of the best of any member of the House Republican Caucus. He remained a strident supporter of President Donald Trump’s political program throughout his presidency, fighting to untangle America from endless foreign wars, implement strong trade policies to protect US industries, and to overthrow the domination of cultural liberalism from America’s elite institutions.

Left-wing members of Congress have sought to punish Rep. Brooks and Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar from the House for challenging the certification of electoral college votes on January 6th.

If elected Senator, Brooks could conceivably follow in the mold of Jeff Sessions, who championed many of the issues Donald Trump took up as a populist presidential candidate in 2016. Brooks is likely to receive Trump’s endorsement, as well. America First advocates seeking credible Republicans to support in the 2022 midterms could have their first legitimate candidate with Brooks.
