Arizona Grand Jury Indicts Convicted Felon on Two Voting Fraud Felonies

The Arizona Attorney General revealed that a career criminal has been charged by a state grand jury with two felonies related to voting fraud last week. Victor Manuel Aguirre was charged with one count of illegal voting and one count of false registration, both charges amounting to felonies.

Charging documents accuse Mr. Aguirre of falsifying a voter registration form filled out on or around September 30th, 2020, falsely claiming that he wasn’t a convicted felon. Aguirre’s voting rights have been barred as a result of his probation status following a series of serious felony convictions, including identity theft, criminal trespass, weapons violations and unlawful flight.

Mr. Aguirre not only falsely registered, but is accused of going on to vote while incarcerated in the Pima County Jail. Jail inmates, many of whom are yet to be convicted, are legally eligible to vote- although Aguirre is not, having been convicted of multiple felonies for which he’s still subject to probation.

Aguirre appears to have been arrested on the grand jury charges in late September, posting bond to leave the Pima County Jail(again) last week. His next court date on the voting fraud charges is scheduled for November 17th.

Attorney General Mark Brnovich has pledged to strenuously investigate and prosecute legitimate cases of voter fraud.

The grand jury indictment- the second of its kind in Arizona, the most contentious state in the 2020 presidential election- affects what would amount to a single fraudulent vote on the part of one person, far from vindicating theories that would have reversed the final result of the state’s last presidential election. Such a claim has been proposed by prominent eCeleb internet ‘influencers,’ determined to deliver a widely-sought dopamine hit through claiming that President Trump will be imminently reinstated to the US presidential throne after the revelation of a widespread conspiracy.
