ARRESTED: DC Antifa Leader Behind Bars After Allegedly Assaulting Marines

A Washington D.C Antifa figurehead named Joseph “Jose” Alcoff was arrested on January 10th in regards to an attack he orchestrated on two Marine Corps Reservists in Philadelphia in November.

Alcoff had mobbed the two Marines, Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres, in Philadelphia after incorrectly assuming the pair were part of a right-wing group staging a demonstration Alcoff was counter-protesting. According to testimony from the victims, Alcoff found it fitting to label the two “white supremacists,” “Nazis,” “spics,” and “wetbacks,” all at the same time. Alcoff had attacked Godinez and Torres with a mob of around twelve Antifas.

Alcoff now faces a total of 17 different charges, some of which are aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, conspiracy and terroristic threats, and one count of robbery while inflicting serious bodily injury in relation to the incident.

While Alcoff seems content to take on the role of organizing street beatings of “Nazis” and assaulting innocent bystanders using alternate names such as “Chepe” and “Jose Martin,” it appears he uses his real name to engage in far more politically sanitized and “mainstream” political activism. Reporting from the Daily Caller revealed that Alcoff has been associated with progressive institutions such as Americans for Financial Reform and leading Democrats such as Maxine Waters– while saving his most uncouth and violent forms of street activism for his pseudonyms, under which he professes being an open Communist.

Alcoff’s Twitter is similarly anonymous, and as such he found it an appropriate place to engage in several violent and terroristic rants, as highlighted on the Daily Caller’s report.

Sad Steve Scalise will survive. If you really hate the terror the KKK and AHCA will bring, you really have no business offering him sympathy,” Alcoff tweeted on June 17th.

Alcoff has also been linked to “Smash Racism D.C,” an Antifa-linked group that organized a confrontation of sorts outside Tucker Carlson’s house, where dozens of activists showed up and chanted threats towards Carlson on the street.
