Bernie Sanders Supporter Caught on Video Saying He Wanted to Throw Americans Into Gulags is Running for Democrat State Committee in Michigan
A Bernie Sanders supporter who was caught on video discussing his support for terrorism in pursuit of his leftist revolutionary ends is now running for a position of authority within the Democrat Party of Michigan.
Far-left activist Kyle Jurek is running for a spot on the Michigan Democrat Party State Central Committee where he would have a say in the day-to-day affairs of the Michigan Democrats. Jurek is blaming alcohol for his unhinged and violent rhetoric to Project Veritas reporters as he attempts to curry Democrat support.
“Lots of things can be said after four shots of Jameson that we wouldn’t normally say,” Jurek said.
“I feel like in Michigan and around the country, I have a lot of respect in progressive circles. What happened with Project Veritas was an unfortunate situation. We’re all familiar with it . . . I’m still fighting for progressive policies and values,” he added.
Even though the Democrat Party is shifting rapidly toward the Left, some constituents – such as Democrat precinct delegate Riley Vermilya – are not happy electing an unabashed radical like Jurek into a position of leadership.
“I was horrified,” Vermilya told MIRS about her reaction to Jurek’s candidacy for a state committee post. “I don’t want him anywhere near my group.”
“He sounds like the crazy right-wingers who did what they did on Jan. 6. He’s in the wrong group,” she added.
However, Jurek does have some prominent advocates, such as Democratic National Committee delegate and progressive activist leader Liano Sharon, who seemingly has no problem with a man of Jurek’s murderous anti-American ideology serving in a position of authority for the Michigan Democrats.
“I understand and agree with the criticism, but in my opinion, he has served his time. He’s been punished. How long are we to shun him for it? At some point, people need to be allowed to move on from their mistakes. I think it’s been long enough. Others may have a different opinion, and I respect that,” Sharon said.
Big League Politics reported on Jurek’s comments last year shortly after they were revealed to the world by intrepid hidden camera journalist James O’Keefe:
One day after Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe exposed damning video of a Bernie Sanders organizer calling for violent revolution and re-education camps for Trump supporters, the campaign has locked down the Twitter accounts of their Iowa state directors to prevent more embarrassing disclosures from top supporters.
O’Keefe exposed that nine accounts have been locked in response to his hidden camera reporting, as Team Bernie scrambles to do damage control following the damaging revelations.
The video released on Tuesday showed Kyle Jurek, a campaign organizer for the Sanders campaign in Iowa, explaining the devious and violent plans of the radical left if their socialist candidate fails to win the Democratic presidential nomination this year.
“We’re going to make 1978 look like a f–ing Girl Scout f–ing cookout,” said Jurek, referring to the clashes between police and protesters during the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
“The cops are going to be the ones that are getting f–ing beaten in Milwaukee. They’re going to call out the National Guard for that s–t. I promise you that,” he added.
If Trump wins re-election in November, Jurek confirmed that he and his fellow radicals intend to burn the entire country down in a showing of anti-capitalist fury.
“F–ing cities burn,” Jurek said when asked what would happen if Trump were to win, “I mean, we don’t have a lot of time left, we have to save f–ing human civilization.”
“If Bernie doesn’t get the nomination, or it goes to the second round at the DNC convention, f–ing Milwaukee will burn,” he said. “It’ll start in Milwaukee, and then when the police push back on that, other cities will just f–ing (explosion sound).”
Jurek is running for a position on the MISolidarity slate for the Democrat Party’s State Central Committee of Michigan. The convention will ultimately take place on Feb. 20 where the far-left Jurek will have a chance to be a Democrat leader.
