The Joe Biden scandal is not going away.
Vail Kohnert-Yount said she was a White House intern in the spring of 2013 and one day tried to exit the basement of the West Wing when she was asked to step aside so Biden could enter. After she moved out of the way, she said, Biden approached her to introduce himself and shake her hand.
“He then put his hand on the back of my head and pressed his forehead to my forehead while he talked to me. I was so shocked that it was hard to focus on what he was saying. I remember he told me I was a ‘pretty girl,’ ” Kohnert-Yount said in a statement to The Post….
Sofie Karasek was part of a group of 51 sexual assault victims who appeared onstage at the Oscars with Lady Gaga that year; Biden had introduced the singer’s performance.
Karasek said as she met Biden after the ceremony, she was thinking about a college student who had been sexually assaulted and recently died by suicide. She decided to share the story with the then-vice president, and Biden responded by clasping her hands and leaning down to place his forehead against hers, a moment captured in a widely circulated photograph.
After former Nevada state legislator Lucy Flores went public with her story that Joe Biden awkwardly kissed the back of her head at a 2014 event for her lieutenant governor campaign, a phalanx of pundits quickly deflected: On Sunday, #NeverTrump Republican Tom Nichols — who wrote in October that he was leaving the GOP because it’d become “the party of situational ethics and moral relativism in the name of winning at all costs” — tweeted, “Trump 2020 is coming along nicely.” Monday night on CNN, New York Times columnist Frank Bruni summed up his view that with Biden, among others, Democrats risked “tearing apart their candidates,” saying, “If this is the conversation that Democrats are going to have, we might as well give the election to Donald Trump right now.”…
Democrats have a diverse, accomplished, progressive-minded group of candidates competing for their party’s nomination and for the presidency. If Biden wants to be part of that group, he should face the same scrutiny as the other candidates. If he can answer his critics, it will be evidence that he’s earned the right to represent Democrats next year. It’s insulting, though, to be told that a man whose inappropriate conduct is a relic of the past is the only hope for our future.
WTF: Border Wall Construction Crew is Busted for Smuggling from Mexico in Texas
According to a report form Breitbart News, Border Patrol agents tasked with patrolling the Rio Grande City Station spotted a pickup truck close to Rio Grande in Fronton on July 20, 2020.
The agents witnessed the vehicle parking close to a new wall construction site. A number of individuals were spotted putting items onto the back of the truck and then driving off toward Highway 83.
Then, the vehicle turned east and started heading toward Roma, Texas. The agents eventually carried out a traffic stop on a yellow and black Ford F-250.
The suspect did not comply with the stop and started fleeing on foot south on Lincoln Avenue and headed towards the border. Jaeson Jones of Breitbart noted that this “common tactic is known as a ‘bailout.’”
Agents saw the driver dive right into the Rio Grande and swim his way back into Mexico. Focusing their attention back at the F-250, agents arrested five people who were seen loading the truck. Law enforcement sources reported that these individuals were in the U.S. illegally.
The vehicle was allegedly registered to CMF Leasing in Fort Worth, Texas. There were decals on the truck that promoted Southwest Valley Constructors (SWVC), a firm that is currently contracted to build a border wall system.
On top of that, the investigation revealed that the driver was identified as a resident of Roma who was by employed SWVC, according to Border Patrol agents account of the incident.
Law enforcement sources informed Breitbart Texas that the driver has a prior history of smuggling activity.
On May 28, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to award a contract to construct about three miles of new bollard wall system on federally lands situated within the Rio Grande Valley Sector.
Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. received a contract for $42,860,000. In addition, Kiewit has an office located at the same address in Fort Worth where the F-250 is registered at.
The road to securing America’s border will not be easy.
America is dealing with a failed state in Mexico, so there will be plenty of bad actors looking to exploit America’s flawed border policies and undermine its sovereignty.
Thankfully, the U.S. has a presidential administration that is quickly working to tackle border security.
