Biden Regime Limits Life-Saving Regeneron After Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Expands Treatment to Reduce COVID Deaths

The Biden administration is limiting the use of regeneron, which is a monoclonal antibody treatment that has been very effective in treating COVID-19 cases in Florida and throughout the country.
DeSantis’ office made the announcement that only 30,950 doses of monoclonal antibodies would be available for Florida, down from 72,000 doses only a week ago. This rationing is taking place as demand for regeneron explodes.
They noted that this was a stark change from the Biden administration’s initial plan to double the deliveries of monoclonal antibodies to various states. It appears, yet again, that the science has become politicized.
“We were happy to see that Biden’s COVID plan announced last week included a 50 percent increase in monoclonal antibody deliveries to states this month,” said Christina Pushaw, who serves as press secretary for DeSantis.
“So it’s surprising and deeply disappointing to see that the Biden administration would break its promise just a week later and cut mAb allocation to Florida, so they aren’t even providing half of the doses of live-saving treatment that COVID patients in Florida will need,” she continued.
“But the governor,” Pushaw added, “is committed to ensuring that everyone who needs the treatment will be able to get it, even if we can’t count on the Biden administration.”

“An Ohio judge ordered a hospital to treat a man with ivermectin as he’s gravely sick with coronavirus disease, potentially opening the door for patients who wish to try the experimental treatment against the will of healthcare providers.
Jeffrey Smith will receive ivermectin following an emergency lawsuit on the part of his wife, Julie. Julie Smith had consulted on the possibility of treating Mr. Smith with Dr. Fred Wagshul.
Dr. Wagshul, an advocate of ivermectin, has shared accounts of six hospitalized coronavirus patients who were treated with ivermectin, all of whom recovered and left intensive treatment.
“We’ve had six cases nationally where people were intubated on ventilators, six different states, and went home after taking it and no one can explain it,” said Dr. Wagshul, a founding member of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance. The CDC has opposed using ivermectin to treat COVID-19.
Judge Gregory Howard ordered West Chester Hospital to provide ivermectin to Smith for a period of three weeks in the ruling, issued Sunday. The hospital had argued they didn’t have enough experience in the prescription and use of the drug to provide it to Smith, an argument the dying man’s wife found less than convincing or relevant.“
