A self-described “bleeding heart liberal” took to social media to shame American Airlines for boarding a plane full of people…while being on the same plane herself!
Erin Strine was onboard a flight from New York City to Charlotte, N.C., bringing scores of germs back with her from a coronavirus epicenter to a location with far fewer cases. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has even warned about the dangers of this type of travel.
“If COVID-19 is spreading at your destination, but not where you live, you may be at higher risk of exposure if you travel there,” the CDC said. “Consider the risk of passing COVID-19 to others during travel, particularly if you will be in close contact with people who are older adults or have severe chronic health condition.”
This means the reverse is true. If a traveler is flying from a COVID hotspot to a destination with very few cases, the passenger could cause an outbreak upon arrival
Strine somehow believes that American Airlines can enforce social distancing norms in a cramped tube with recirculated air. The entitled princess took to social media to complain and paint herself as a victim.
Well silly me thinking that an airline would adhere to social distancing guidelines. Currently abroad a nearly full @AmericanAir flight and I’ve never felt less safe or cared for in my entire life pic.twitter.com/sx5STfHKBI

Even though many of the Twitter responses are ridiculing of Strine and poking fun at her absurd request, the fake news has seized upon her story and painted her as some type of heroic whistleblower.
ABC11 Raleigh-Durham ran with her narrative and gave Strine a pass for traveling by plane and spreading germs. They claimed in the article that Strine’s “grandmother had recently passed” and she “was traveling to Raleigh to be with family,” even though no evidence was presented in the story to back up those assertions.
American Airlines is already being forced to grovel to the mob because they assumed their customers would understand the obvious risks of flying during the pandemic.
“The safety of our customers and team members remains our top priority. We are in close contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health officials and will continue to coordinate with them on any required health and safety-related measures,” the airline wrote in response to Strine’s viral video.
The airline maintains that they have taken additional measures to protect their passengers throughout the coronavirus craze, which has resulted in mass hysteria exploding amongst the public.
“In response to our employees’ concerns about COVID-19, we have expanded our cleaning procedures to ensure high-touch areas are cleaned more frequently and have introduced procedures to ensure employees maintain proper distance from others and follow all CDC recommendations for personal hygiene,” the airline wrote.
“We allow all employees to wear gloves or masks if they wish, and in the wake of recently-updated CDC guidelines, are working to provide masks to all front-line employees as quickly as we can obtain supplies without taking any actions that would deprive such necessary supplies from first responders and health care providers,” they added.
An examination of Strine’s Twitter account shows her to be a spiteful leftist hypocrite who wishes to impose her will upon the rest of society.
Tweets she has liked in recent days have included veiled death threats against conservatives, the gratuitous blaspheming of Christian beliefs, and deceptions about Trump’s recent coronavirus press briefing.
Individuals like Strine will do everything they can to impose their divisive agenda on society throughout the coronavirus pandemic, as she feels “stay at home” orders should t apply to her.
Her Twitter activity serves as proof that we are all not in this together.
ByteDance Agrees to Sell TikTok After President Trump’s Threat to Shut Down China-Based Social Media App
Microsoft will be acquiring TikTok.
The Chinese corporation ByteDance has agreed to sell social media platform TikTok to Microsoft after President Donald Trump threatened to shut down TikTok in the U.S.
Reuters reported on Saturday that ByteDance caved to Trump’s demands for the firm to divest in U.S. operations of TikTok entirely. TikTok has been accused of funneling the personal data of U.S. citizens to the Chinese communist government.
“We are here for the long run. Continue to share your voice here and let’s stand for TikTok,” TikTok U.S. general manager Vanessa Pappas said in a video released on Saturday.
Under the proposed deal, Microsoft will be in charge of TikTok’s U.S. user data. The rest of the U.S. operations for TikTok are expected to be taken over by another corporation.
President Trump had previously threatened to shut down TikTok in the U.S. this weekend if they refused to change their business model to ensure that the personal data of U.S. citizens cannot be exploited by the Chinese.
“As far as TikTok is concerned, we’re banning them from the United States,” Trump said to reporters on Friday, adding that he could do so with emergency economic powers or through an executive order.
Big League Politics has reported on how TikTok is being investigated by the federal government as a potential hazard to national security:
The U.S. government is beginning a national security review of the Chinese-owned TikTok viral video app.
Reuters reported on the beginning of the investigation on Friday. The U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States is inquiring into TikTok’s parent company, Beijing ByteDance Technology Co.
Specifically, investigators are said to be probing the company’s 2017 $1 billion acquisition of another app, Musical.ly. That app was combined with TikTok in August of 2018.
Foreign companies that acquire American technology entities are subject to review by the Committee on Foreign Investment. TikTok’s parent was never reviewed for its acquistion of Musical.ly, and is thus being investigated after the fact for any potential discrepancies related to their business practices.
TikTok has skyrocketed in popularity, becoming one of the most popular social media apps since its initial release in 2016. It boasts more than 26 million annual users, 60% of whom are between 16-24 years old.
Much of the content uploaded on the platform is innocuous, allowing users to make easily edited videos and viral content.
Senators such as Josh Hawley and Marco Rubio have expressed concern that TikTok’s owners could be cooperating with the Chinese government to surveil Americans and implement political censorship.
The founder of Musical.ly, Alex Zhu, began to report directly to ByteDance’s Chinese CEO, Zhang Yiming. He had previously reported to a lower-ranking ByteDance subsidiary.
Hawley has called for TikTok executives to testify next week at a Senate hearing in regards to American consumer data ending up in the hands of Chinese companies. Chinese businesses are required by law to cooperate with the nation’s intelligence agencies.
President Trump has demonstrated that his tough talk can result in action that will protect U.S. citizens from being sold out to Chinese communists.
