Bloomberg News Officially Recognized as Fake News by Trump Campaign

President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign will deny official press credentials to Bloomberg News after the Democratic mega-billionaire and new Presidential candidate’s outlet announced a policy that would shield Michael Bloomberg from editorial criticism while continuing to “investigate” Trump.
Brad Parscale, Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, released a statement announcing the revocation of Bloomberg News’ press credentials in light of their open and shameless bias.
“The decision by Bloomberg News to formalize preferential reporting policies is troubling and wrong. Bloomberg News has declared that they won’t investigate their boss or his Democrat competitors, many of whom are current holders of high office, but will continue critical reporting on President Trump. Since they have declared their bias openly, the Trump campaign will no longer credential representatives of Bloomberg News for rallies or other campaign events.”
The Trump campaign will treat other inquiries made by Bloomberg operatives on a case-by-case basis.
The RNC has also adopted the policy, declining to credential Bloomberg journos.
The corporate “news” outlet openly announced the shamelessly biased and slanted editorial approach shortly after its owner announced his last-minute run for President. They’ll abstain from hosting any content potentially embarrassing for Bloomberg himself, while admitting they’ll continue to present information supposedly harmful to President Trump’s reelection prospects. They’ve also suspended investigative coverage of other Democratic candidates competing with the platform’s owner, the former Mayor of New York.
Bloomberg himself is mostly predicating his long-shot, centrist Democratic bid for President on his own vast personal funds. He’s already broken campaign advertising spending records previously held by the Barack Obama 2012 campaign.
Faux Bloomberg journalists also have joined the Michael Bloomberg campaign, shedding any pretense of being anything more than a puppet for the corporate outlet’s owner.
Bloomberg News will no longer be treated with the undeserved privilege of being recognized as a journalistic entity by the Trump campaign. It represents a paid commercial for its oligarch master, nothing more.
