BOOK: NBC And Allred’s Daughter Covered For Harvey Weinstein

Reporter Ronan Farrow’s book is going to detail how the NBC network tried to block his story about the numerous sex abuse accusations against Harvey Weinstein, before The New Yorker eventually ran Farrow’s story.

It wasn’t just NBC. It was also Lisa Bloom, attorney daughter of Gloria Allred.

“I walked into the door at The New Yorker with an explosively reportable piece that should have been public earlier. And immediately, obviously, The New Yorker recognized that. And it is not accurate to say that it was not reportable. In fact, there were multiple determinations that it was reportable at NBC,” Farrow stated.

Here is a Sky News documentary about Harvey Weinstein:

Farrow was ridiculed for receiving an excellence in broadcasting award before his shortlived MSNBC talk show even came on the air, but after MSNBC dumped him (and Alex Wagner, who had another lame daytime show) Farrow distinguished himself as the main writer driving the #MeToo movement. Farrow is the son of Mia Farrow and purportedly Woody Allen, though even Allen has suggested that Frank Sinatra is Ronan’s real father.

The book will certainly ruffle feathers at NBC while its counterpart CBS also reels from allegations that network president David Rhodes — brother of Obama speechwriter and Benghazi liar Ben Rhodes — tried to block The Washington Post’s reporting on Rose.

Network television is in upheaval, and NBC is also dealing with the fallout from Matt Lauer’s years of well-known sexual harassment, which Katie Couric and many others at the network joked about.
