Border Patrol Reports 1,000 “Gotaways” Per Day

Sources at the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) told Fox News that there have been over 23,000 “known gotaways” since the new fiscal year kicked off on October 1.
In other words, Border Patrol agents saw or detected north of 1,000 individuals per day in October. Curiously, none of these individuals were apprehended.
Sources claim these figures representing the rate at which individuals are crossing illegally and scurrying off into the interior are making border authorities jittery. They have no idea who the roughly 1,000 individuals arriving each day are, where they’re coming from or why they’re entering the US illegally.
Further, a new monthly update that was unveiled on October 21, 2023 by CBP demonstrated that border officials arrested 18 people on the FBI’s terror watchlist in September.
Per CBP statistics, 169 people on the FBI terror watchlist were encountered between ports of entry at the US-Mexico border over the last 12 months. This figure tops not only the previous fiscal year’s total record of 98 encounters but the past 6 fiscal years combined.
In September, there were 218,763 US Border Patrol encounters between ports of entry along the southwest border, per the report.
“In response to high rates of encounters across the southwest border in September, CBP surged resources and personnel. We are continually engaging with domestic and foreign partners to address historic hemispheric migration, including large migrant groups traveling on freight trains, and to enforce consequences including by preparing for direct repatriations to Venezuela,” Troy A. Miller, Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Commissioner, declared in a statement.
“CBP will continue to remain vigilant, making operational adjustments as necessary and enforcing consequences under U.S. immigration law,” Miller continued. “The supplemental funding request announced yesterday would provide critically needed additional resources including additional CBP agents and officers to support our essential missions: from border and migration management, to countering fentanyl and keeping dangerous drugs out of our communities.”
These figures represent just another day at the US southern border, which the American ruling class has largely neglected in the last few decades. Instead of protecting the border, the ruling class spent hundreds of billions to build a military that defends the borders of other countries (Israel, Japan, South Korea, etc.)
That’s the post-national ethos that animates our rulers. And it will lead to the utter destruction of our great nation if we don’t get our act together.
A political movement that prioritizes border security and patriotic immigration reforms is what’s needed to restore order in the US.
