Corey Stewart Wins Virginia GOP Senate Primary, Will Face Kaine in November

A Trump-esque candidate for U.S. Senate from Virginia has bested his NeverTrump opponent in a come-from-behind victory in today’s primary.

Corey Stewart beat out opponents Nick Freitas and E.W. Jackson, winning (blank) percent of the vote.

Stewart, who mirrors Trump on major issues like immigration, trade, and defeating political correctness, will go head to head with former presidential candidate, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA).

Though Stewart’s campaign was dogged by baseless accusations of racism from NeverTrump media outlets like Daily Wire, founded by pundit Ben Shapiro, the candidate was undeniable to his future constituents and unrelenting in his America First message.

Stewart has a substantial amount of name recognition in Virginia, having run a shockingly close gubernatorial primary race against Ed Gillespie last year. Gillespie eventually lost to Gov. Ralph Northam (D-VA) in November.

The Stewart campaign will celebrate tonight and gear up for tough fight against Kaine.
