BREAKING: Democrat NY AG Accused of Physical Abuse Has Resigned
In a story that Big League has reported as it’s unfolded, longtime Trump foe and now accused physical abuser, Eric Schneiderman, has resigned as New York’s Attorney General.
This story is developing.
Earlier today, Big League reported:
This pattern of behavior is consistent among his four accusers.
Schneiderman denies the abuse, calling it “consensual.”
“In the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity,” he said in a statement. “I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in nonconsensual sex, which is a line I would not cross.”
As reported by Politico, Schneiderman and Robert Mueller have made quite the pair, investigating Paul Manafort together as part of a broad investigation into “collusion” with the Russian government in the 2016 election.
“The two teams have shared evidence and talked frequently in recent weeks about a potential case, these people said,” the report says. “One of the people familiar with progress on the case said both Mueller’s and Schneiderman’s teams have collected evidence on financial crimes, including potential money laundering.”
Schneiderman is a longtime foe of President Trump, having won a $25 million settlement against Trump University in 2016, which Trump settled “just to have the matter behind him.”
