The fired FBI deputy chief who took over after James Comey was fired looks like he’s in for a major legal battle. It has just been revealed that the Inspector General investigating the misdeeds at the FBI issued a criminal referral to the U.S. attorney based in Washington D.C.

This new information comes in the wake of the shocking report released by the IG last Friday, which showed Andrew McCabe had lied multiple times under oath.
