BREAKING: Matt Gaetz And Other Congress Members DEFY Nancy Pelosi’s Mask Mandate

A recent tweet by the Communications Director for Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) shows a video of Gaetz and various other members of Congress walking through a Capitol building without masks on in defiance of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s forced mask rule.

“HAPPENING NOW — @MattGaetz and other Members of Congress DEFY Nancy Pelosi’s unconstitutional mask mandates.” The post reads.

Another video found on Instagram shows Gaetz surrounded by an even larger crowd of maskless people.

The move by Gaetz and other Congressional members seen in the video comes as the Biden administration and CDC have once again called for forced masking on adults and schoolchildren alike, with many Americans outraged at the idea of continued draconian measures. Other well-known and freely-breathing members of Congress can be seen walking along with Gaetz, including North Carolina Representative Madison Cawthorn and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

Big League Politics has previously reported on tensions regarding draconian orders in the White House, with Congressional Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) asserting the rules are arbitrary and not based on science.

This past Tuesday Kentucky House Representative Thomas Massie (R-KA) criticized the House mask mandate instilled by Nancy Pelosi, claiming the rule has absolutely nothing to do with science.

“We’ve had enough.” Massie posted on Twitter. “We are refusing to wear our masks on the floor during this vote in spite of Pelosi’s threat to take $500 from each of us.”

“Her rule is not based on science. All you need to know is the mask rule has only ever applied to members when they can be seen on TV!,” he added.
While the numbers of resistance among Republicans are small, Massie was not entirely alone in this endeavor. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) joined the resistance for normalcy as well, posting a video of herself shredding a warning letter from Nancy Pelosi that threatened penalties for not masking.
Around seven more House Republicans apparently went maskless on the House floor Tuesday. “I can’t hear you with your mask on,” Massie quipped at an unspecified Democratic Rep. who confronted the group…”
