A protestor caused a stir before the press briefing began at the Trump/Putin Summit in Helsinki, Finland this morning.

VIDEO: NYPD Officers Shoot a Gun-Wielding Suspect Dead After a Shooting in Brooklyn

This is chaos in the streets of New York City.

A shocking viral video shows several New York Police Department (NYPD) officers shooting a gun-wielding suspect dead after he was accused of shooting another man in Brooklyn.

That video can be seen here:

The cops arrived at the Kingsborough Houses in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn at approximately 9:30 pm on Tuesday night where they found a man who had been shot. Residents said the suspect was nearby, and law enforcement soon found him hiding behind a tree in the near vicinity.

At that point, “the officers gave orders for the male to drop the weapon for over a minute,” but the suspect would not comply, according to Chief of Department Terence Monahan. This resulted in about 10 cops opening fire.

Monahan claims that police body camera footage will show that the officers acted with restraint and only fired at the man when it became clear he would not give up his firearm. He believes that “this incident is not related to ongoing protests.” Other witnesses took video of the deadly encounter, which was also published on Facebook live. Officers ultimately recovered a handgun on the scene.

A resident in the area who calls himself Champ confirmed that officers were helping a man who was shot before he heard all of the gunfire break out.

“Then I got the hell out of dodge,” he said.

Even before the riots rocked the streets, New York City was turning into a cesspool once again because of the derelict policies of Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Big League Politics has reported on how de Blasio’s lax criminal justice policies have given free reign to criminals throughout the city:

Since 2019, New York City has experienced a considerable growth in crime.

The Daily Mail reported that major crimes rose by 22.5 percent in February according to NYPD data. This was accompanied by a 7.1 percent increase in shootings, robbery, assault, burglary, grand larceny, and grand larceny auto crimes.

According to Fox5, police are blaming criminal justice reforms for this uptick in crime.

Reports indicate that there were 16,343 major crimes reported in the first two months of 2020 compared to 13,648 during the same period in 2019. This marks an increase of 2,695.

During the first 58 days of 2020, 482 people who were previously arrested for committing felonies such as robbery or burglary were arrested again for committing an additional 846 crimes.

35 percent, or 299, of those were arrested for committing the following major crimes: Murder, rape, robbery, felony assault, burglary, grand larceny, and grand larceny auto.

Law enforcement officials claim that all of the suspects who had been arrested would have usually been incarcerated prior to the passage of new bail reform laws.

On January 1, 2020, New York State introduced comprehensive criminal justice legislation, which included the abolition of cash bail for most misdemeanors and nonviolent felonies, such as robbery.

As of now, judges are required to let individuals charged with such crimes go free without cash bail.

Even before the riots started, these liberal-run cities were in terrible shape and riddled with violence. Now they are worse than ever, and cops are being put in harms way as a result.
