BREAKING: Recall Effort For Soros-Funded DA Gascon Claims To Have Enough Signatures
Has backlash against the ‘defund the police’ movement officially begun? The tides of nonstop skyrocketing crimes in large blue cities around the country may be turning after the campaign to recall far-left Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon collected over 700,000 signatures before its deadline on Wednesday.
Fox News’ Bill Melugin reports that the campaign collected 717,000 signatures before Wednesday’s deadline, giving a fairly comfortable margin over the minimum amount. 566,857 of those signatures need to be verified in order for the recall to proceed, according to The Post Millenial.
Melugin said that the recall campaign received over 150,000 signatures in the last few days after two El Monte police officers were murdered by a repeat offender released under the rule of George Gascon.

This recall effort to rid Los Angeles’ streets of the George Soros-backed DA’s reign began shortly after Gascon assumed office in December 2020. Gascon immediately enacted various sweeping reforms to the city’s criminal justice system following his swearing-in, greatly reducing penalties for violent criminals on numerous counts.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva addressed a crowd who was celebrating Boudin’s recall at the time, saying, “George Gascon, you’re next!”
