Brown University Cultural Leftists Demand Destruction of Classical Roman Emperor Statues on Campus
They hate western civilization.

Left-wing racial ideologues at Brown University in Rhode Island are demanding that the school destroy two classical statues of iconic Roman emperors, claiming that the works of art represent “white supremacy.”
Amanda Brynn, Justin Han, Sam Kimball, Junaid Malik, Olivia Mayeda, and Kelley Tackett, six undergraduate students affiliated with “Decolonization at Brown,” are demanding that the school destroy two classical-style statues of Roman emperors Augustus Caesar and Marcus Aurelius.
They claim in a blog post that the statues “were brought to our campus with the goals of upholding the ideal of the ‘perfect’ white form, white civilization, white supremacy and colonialism — ideas that we believe are incompatible with Brown today.”
“This is not just about monuments. It is also about the kinds of people and histories that students at Brown today are taught to idealize.”

They’re demanding that the classical statues, which appear to be replicas of famous Renaissance and ancient art, be replaced with pieces created by “artists of color.”
Marcus Aurelius was Roman emperor in the 2nd century in an era of peace and prosperity for the ancient civilization, and is known for documenting the philosophy of stoicism in literature that has been studied for millennia.
Ironically, classical-style statues have been targeted for destruction on cultural grounds before. The Vandals, a Germanic tribe that warred with the Roman Empire in its era of decline, associated their name with property damage and barbaric behavior through their frequent destruction of cultural statues.
The stringent ideologues detest the glories of western civilization, and would destroy the cultural inheritance of the American legacy before it is passed to future generations. Their own liberal fanaticism will fade from history as an uncreative and empty religion, whereas the legacies of great men will endure.

Mumford & Sons Guitarist Swarmed by Fanatic Leftists After Praising Andy Ngo’s Book
Musicians are terrified to speak out against fanatic leftism.

Folk rock musician Winston Marshall was swarmed by furious leftists after congratulating journalist Andy Ngo on the publication of his new book, “Unmasked.” Ngo’s book breaks down Antifa’s model of attacking democracy and political violence in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere, shining light on the street terror group’s extremism.
Marshall, the lead guitarist of Mumford & Sons, hailed Ngo as a “brave man” in a since-deleted tweet.
Antifa supporters were quick to attack the musician as a “Nazi,” unleashing the hate-filled vitriol commonly associated with the intolerant movement. Marshall’s Twitter feed is largely filled with support for Hong Kong demonstrators, a far cry from what leftists might expect from a “fascist.” The English guitar player’s band is known for songs such as “I Will Wait” and “Hopeless Wanderer.”
Banjo player from Mumford and Sons being a fascist kinda makes sense tbh. https://t.co/kiwCMS618X

Others pointed to the faux social media outrage as mere evidence of the Left’s intolerance and fanaticism.
Congratulations to @MrWinMarshall for showing us, once again, that the people who claim to be "tolerant", "kind" and "open-minded" are the most illiberal, hateful and intolerant around. I'll be going to as many of his concerts as possible.

Ngo has been forced to flee the United States under a constant barrage of Antifa threats in recent months, with the street terror group determined to silence Ngo’s reporting on consistent property damage, anarcho-tyranny, and violent crime in Portland and elsewhere.
Unfortunately, Marshall has since deleted the tweet. It’s considered impossible to get anywhere in the mainstream music industry if you haven’t cravenly bowed before the false gods of ultraliberalism and identity leftism. While Marshall took a risk in even saluting Ngo’s work in the first place, he unfortunately appears to have backed down, to a degree, a sad lamentation of the state of mainstream entertainment and corporate culture.
