Buchanan: ‘Are We Nearing Civil War?’

Published

on

Populist nationalist visionary Pat Buchanan believes that the United States could be headed into a Civil War-like situation in the near future.

Buchanan’s latest column surveys the political discord in the country and spells out a dire warning about the Deep State’s designs on taking out President Trump.

“President Trump may be chief of state, head of government and commander in chief, but his administration is shot through with disloyalists plotting to bring him down,” Buchanan writes, adding:

“We are approaching something of a civil war where the capital city seeks the overthrow of the sovereign and its own restoration.

Thus far, it is a nonviolent struggle, though street clashes between pro- and anti-Trump forces are increasingly marked by fistfights and brawls. Police are having difficulty keeping people apart. A few have been arrested carrying concealed weapons.

That the objective of this city is to bring Trump down via a deep state-media coup is no secret. Few deny it.”

Buchanan believes that Robert Mueller’s role in the “Russia” investigation as special counsel is a Deep State operation.

“Comey wanted a special prosecutor to target Trump, despite his knowledge, from his own FBI investigation, that Trump was innocent of the pervasive charge that he colluded with the Kremlin in the hacking of the DNC,” Buchanan writes.

“Comey’s deceit was designed to enlist the police powers of the state to bring down his president. And it worked. For the special counsel named, with broad powers to pursue Trump, is Comey’s friend and predecessor at the FBI, Robert Mueller,” Buchanan adds.

The entire column is incredible, from the pen of one of the few veteran columnists who has never lost his touch.

Buchanan’s populist 1992 and 1996 campaigns for president terrified the Establishment in Washington D.C. and steeled them in opposition to any kind of activity that would inevitably lead to a Trump-like figure assuming the presidency.

Thus, Buchanan knows what President Trump is up against it. And he’s not pulling any punches.

ACQUITTED FOREVER: President Trump is Found ‘Not Guilty’ by the Senate and Will Remain in Office Following Impeachment

The Democrats wasted the public’s time and money with this charade.

President Donald Trump has been officially acquitted of two articles of impeachment and will not be convicted following his impeachment by the House of Representatives. He will remain in office despite the best efforts of the Democrats.

“The Senate having tried Donald John Trump, President of the United States, upon two articles of impeachment exhibited against him by the House of Representatives, and two-thirds of the Senators present not having found him guilty of the charges contained therein, it is therefore ordered and adjudged that the said Donald John Trump be and he is hereby acquitted of the charges in said articles,” Chief Justice John Roberts said to conclude the trial.

The video of the end of the proceedings can be seen here:

On the first article of impeachment pertaining to abuse of power, 48 senators determined that Trump was guilty while 52 determined he was not guilty. On the second article of impeachment pertaining to obstruction of Congress, 47 senators determined that Trump was guilty while 53 determined he was not guilty.

The Senate would have had to garner a supermajority of 67 Senators to determine that Trump was guilty of impeachable offenses. However, not even a simple majority could come to that conclusion even though the Democrats threw everything but the kitchen sink in an attempt to convince them.

“You can’t trust this president to do the right thing, not for one minute, not for one election, not for the sake of the country,” said House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA). “A man without character or ethical compass will not find his way.”

The Democrat-led proceedings ended up being a massive waste of time at great expense to the U.S. taxpayer, as Trump and his Republican supporters said they would be.

“The president has done nothing wrong, and these types of impeachments must end,” said White House counsel Pat Cipollone about the witch hunt that occurred.

With impeachment now behind him, President Trump can focus on enacting his agenda and winning re-election in November.
