California Drag Queen Primarying Democrat Adam Schiff

A California drag queen is challenging Democratic Representative Adam Schiff for his party’s nomination, hoping to take his seat in the House of Representatives.

“Maebe A. Girl,” who identifies as a gender-fluid trans person, would presumably be the first drag queen to be seated in the U.S Congress, assuming none of her new Democratic colleagues have any clandestine proclivities they’ve declined to disclosed.

She isn’t running out of opposition to Adam Schiff’s quality of representation(the longtime San Fernando congressman is known as a de facto ringleader of the Russia conspiracy/collusion truther movement), but ‘Girl’ believes California’s 28th congressional district would be better served with a representative affiliated with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Should Girl’s primary campaign against Schiff heat up, it’s likely the longtime Democrat will face accusations of sexism, homophobia, and transphobia for his refusal to acknowledge his privilege and step down to allow a gender-fluid trans woman to take his place in Congress.

His primary opponent appears to prefer presenting herself in drag to dressing normally, and it’s likely her tenure in Congress would be defined by her outlandish sense of fashion.

However, in an ironic twist, she could prove to be a natural showman(or woman) in a similar sense to Schiff, who long ago chose to fixate upon a form of sensational political entertainment, stirring up easily misled Democrats with constant claims of unmasking grand Trump/Russia collusion conspiracies.

In any case, the Democrat in drag could very plausibly represent a real threat to the milquetoast incumbent. He’ll owe his constituents a real explanation for his refusal to bow down, surrendering his seat to the first drag queen in Congress.
