Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner has finally reached conclusion in his long, scandal embroiled political career, pleading guilty to the crime of of transferring obscene material to a minor.
Weiner, the member of Hillary Clinton’s inner circle, had an online sexual relationship with a high school sophomore.
In 2011 Wiener was forced to resign from Congress after a sexually explicit photo was sent from his personal twitter account.
The FBI discovered a trove of emails belonging to Hillary Rodham Clinton on the same laptop Wiener used to commit his under aged sex crimes.
The discovery of 650,000 emails belonging to Hillary Clinton prompted the infamous “Comey Letter” to Congress, informing them that the investigation into Clinton would be re opened. Â Â The former Presidential candidate has repeatedly blamed Comey and the emails for her loss.
CNN reports that prosecutors week 21 to 27 months in prison for Weiner, who will be sentenced on September 8.
