A Jesuit Priest said that the Catholic Church has become more “gay-friendly” at a recent conference in Washington, D.C, according to LifeSiteNews.

“Vatican consultant and homosexual activist priest Fr. James Martin stated at a recent conference that Pope Francis has gone out of his way to appoint “gay-friendly” bishops and cardinals in the Catholic Church,” according to the report.

Father James Martin, known for his activism for the LGBT community, expressed his excitement that “things are changing” in the Catholic Church at the Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice 2018.
