CCP Attacks on ‘Shen Yun’ Demonstrate Why Their Influence Cannot Be Tolerated

Modern culture is a depraved cesspool where the most disgusting and depraved “artists” are venerated as they pump filth and debauchery into the minds of the innocent, but there is a glorious oasis in this barren wasteland: Shen Yun, an authentic and awe-inspiring celebration of Chinese beauty and tradition.
Shen Yun is not a DEI spectacle pushed by leftists as part of a sanctimonious guilt exorcism. Far from being multicultural propaganda, Shen Yun is a reminder of what a beautiful country China used to be before it was ravaged by inhuman communists and transformed into a dystopian hellhole where individual rights and dignity are sacrificed on the altar of the collective. For their accurate portrayal of history and revival of authentic Chinese values, Shen Yun has been under attack by the ruthless Chinese Communist Party (CCP) machine.
Because of Shen Yun’s growing success and influence, they have become a target of ruthless CCP operatives. Last year, the DOJ announced that two Chinese men pleaded guilty for attempting to bribe a person who they believed was an IRS official to attack Shen Yun’s federally-protected nonprofit status. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams stated this operation is part of “malicious transnational repression attempts by foreign influences on American soil.” The instance also gives credence to Shen Yun’s frequent complaints about Chinese attacks which have been dismissed by corrupt fake news media outlets as propaganda.
Shen Yun is a production of the vehemently anti-CCP Falun Gong movement. Falun Gong emerged as a popular religious movement in China in the 1990s before being brutally repressed. Falun Gong practitioners have been thrown into work camps with ghastly horror stories of certain believers being subjected to organ harvesting experiments by the godless and amoral CCP government. Falun Gong has survived despite the crackdowns, being closely affiliated with The Epoch Times that is among the most well-respected news outlets in the conservative movement in addition to Shen Yun which has grown in popularity every year since its 2006 launch.
The CCP network of influence makes what USAID is doing look like child’s play by comparison. They have hordes of diplomats, spies, infiltrators and double agents working as part of their United Front network to project power on every square inch of the globe. Shen Yun has reported bomb threats, slashed tires and personal threats lobbed against performers as part of the CCP’s war on their performing troupe. They have counted 130 instances of Chinese attacks spanning throughout 38 countries. Shen Yun’s success is a finger in the eye of CCP global control and cannot be tolerated by their ruthless commissars. Unfortunately, the CCP’s war against Shen Yun and the Falun Gong, which has been ordered from the top by President Xi Jinping, is achieving success through deep state lawfare in Washington D.C.
CCP influence with federal and state government agencies has put Shen Yun under investigation for alleged violations of labor laws and vague claims of abuse, which has unsurprisingly been amplified by the New York Times. Additionally, the feds are coming after Epoch Times CFO Weidong Guan for alleged participation in a money laundering scam involving cryptocurrency. The Epoch Times was attacked in the Times particularly for its positive coverage of President Trump and unwillingness to ignore the fraud that occurred in the 2020 presidential election. This full-scale assault against Shen Yun and Falun Gong shows the black hand of CCP influence is working fiendishly behind the scenes.
If Kamala Harris had been Biden’s successor, that may have spelled doom for Shen Yun and the oft-persecuted religious sect telling their story. However, President Trump is back in office, and prosecuting conservative opponents to the CCP is not likely to be as high on the agenda. In fact, these investigations against Shen Yun and Falun Gong ought to suffer the same fate as the Jan. 6 probe. They should be shuttered immediately as Falun Gong is clearly beneficial to the national interest, enchanting and inspiring minds with their wholesome family-friendly Shen Yun events. Trump should consider bringing Shen Yun into the White House as a way to show the CCP their schemes against the organization have failed.
The Trump administration should be as laser focused on rooting out CCP influence as the federal government was focused on rooting out Soviet communist influence in the 1940s and 50s. The CCP’s attacks on Shen Yun show how much they loathe the core American values of freedom of religion and freedom of expression. America cannot be great again until every Chinese-controlled pawn is rooted out of political, business and academic life. America needs nothing short of a rise of neo-McCarthyism that will put Chinese infiltrators under the microscope and create a culture where these parasites are run out of institutions and either imprisoned or forced to leave. This is how to help not only Americans, but also the people of China who are slaves to this regime who will only be further exploited by its global hegemony.
