Charter Schools Rise After Mass Exodus From Public Schools During COVID-19 Pandemic

Public school enrollment is dropping in large numbers after teachers and union thugs have politicized the COVID-19 pandemic and shown exactly how little they care about the students who they regularly indoctrinate with marxist and anti-American dogma.

In addition to the boom in homeschooling, charter schools are another prime beneficiary from this exodus as parents begin to understand how their children are being abused and disrespected by state commissars in public schools.

The analysis from the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools shows that enrollment in charter schools increased by 7.1 percent from the 2019-20 school year to the 2020-21 school year on a nationwide basis. At the same time, public school enrollment dropped by 3.3 percent, which means 1.5 million students were liberated from the decaying government-dominated system of control.

Additionally, charter school enrollment is up 65 percent in Alabama and 78 percent in Oklahoma. With such large numbers of people opting out of the system, it will only be a matter of time before the government attempts to crack down against charter schools for providing a much more effective educational alternative than their soul-draining thought prisons for children.

Big League Politics has reported on how Americans are waking up to the scam of public education:

According to a recent poll by Rasmussen Reports, Americans are more likely to describe the nation’s public school quality as “poor” as opposed to rating them as good or excellent. Although, they give higher scores to schools in their local district.

The Rasmussen poll found that 34% of American adults rate public schools’ performance in America as “poor.” This figure is higher than the 30% combined who classify America’s public schools as excellent (8%) or good (22%). The latest findings are similar to Rasmussen surveys conducted back in 2012, which had the “poor” rating for America’s schools hovering from 26% to 36% and the combined “excellent”/ “good” total never going north of 30%.

When Americans were asked about their local public schools’ performance, 44% of Americans rated them as “excellent” (11%) or “good” (33%). Only 18% believe that their public schools are performing poorly.

On partisan grounds, the figures get interesting. 46% of Democrats rated public schools’ performance as excellent or good. By contrast, 23% of Republicans and 20% non-partisan responders ranked public schools as excellent. 42% of Republicans believe that public schools are performing poorly, in addition to 25% of Democrats and 37% of unaffiliated voters.”

Americans need to choose educational freedom to save their children’s souls from public schools dominated by teachers unions that are happy to train them to be serfs for their radical far-left political agenda.
