Chief Justice John Roberts Censors Rand Paul’s Repeated Attempts to Expose CIA “Whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella, Essentially Confirming His Identity

Supreme Court Justice John Roberts is carrying water for the Democrats during the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump, blocking questions from Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) that name CIA whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.
Roberts is helping the Democrats protect the identity of the Democrat operative who created the basis for impeachment with his complaint regarding President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, despite never having heard the call himself.
Roberts first blocked Paul’s attempt to expose Ciaramella on Wednesday. The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis called out Roberts for his “arbitrary and unilateral censorship of senators and Senate business.” Davis added that Roberts initially wanted to block even general questions surrounding the whistleblower, showing extreme bias from the robed lawyer who infamously saved Obamacare.
“I don’t want to have to stand up to try and fight for recognition,” Paul shouted after his question was rejected by Roberts, according to reporter Niels Lesniewski, who said that Paul’s objection was “audible from the galleries above the chamber.”
“If I have to fight for recognition, I will,” Paul said.
Paul continued his push to name Ciaramella on Wednesday, and Roberts rebuked him yet again. Federal law does not prevent Ciaramella from being named in the Senate, but Roberts remains dedicated to limiting the public’s understanding of the case.

Paul noted that his question didn’t even name Ciaramella as the whistleblower, but it just referenced his relationship with Adam Schiff staffer Shawn Misko. Roberts’ stubborn refusal to field Paul’s question has inadvertently demonstrated Ciaramella to be the whistleblower, which is an open secret.

Really weird thing about CJ Roberts' bizarre refusal to read @RandPaul's question about Eric Ciaramella's extremely close relationship with Schiff staffer Shawn Misko is that he never refers to him as "whistleblower." So so so weird.

There are now reports that Democrats are fuming over Paul’s agitation. Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut is looking for ways to punish Paul for bringing the issue of the CIA whistleblower’s identity to the Senate impeachment trial.

Sen. Paul has been one of the few GOP lawmakers with the courage to expose Ciaramella publicly. Ciaramella’s identity as the whistleblower has been widely known for weeks, even as the Democrats and establishment media sources desperately attempt to cover it up.
“I think Eric Ciaramella needs to be pulled in for testimony, and then I think it will be ultimately determined at that point,” Paul said to Washington, D.C.-based WMAL in Nov. 2018. “But I think he is a person of interest in the sense that he was at the Ukraine desk when Joe Biden was there when Hunter Biden was working for the Ukrainian oligarch. So simply for that alone, I think he’s a material witness who needs to be brought in.”
“I think the whistleblower needs to come in because he needs to be asked about, did he know about the conflict of interest?” Paul added. “He was there during the time of Joe Biden and Hunter Biden working for $50,000 a month for a Ukrainian oligarch, so he needs to be asked about that.”
Paul’s refusal to back down in the midst of overreach from the Chief Justice has exposed the Senate impeachment trial against President Trump as even more of a farce and a sham.
