China Backtracking on Disturbing Pet Killing and Family Separation Policies
Amidst the spike of a highly contagious Omicron BA.2 Covid sub-variant, China is looking to re-stake its role as the international champion of violent authoritarianism. Since the end of March, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has instituted outlandishly draconian laws in a futile attempt to contain Covid-19 outbreaks in and around the city of Shanghai.
Some of the sadistically brutal directives they have imposed revolved around the mass extermination of family pets and the forced separation of parents and children. All for the collectivist sake of the “greater good” for “public health”.
Surprisingly though, the Chinese people are showing some initial signs of resistance against the State’s massive overreach. Reports of widespread social media dissidence, small-scale riots at food distribution centers, and the rescindment of harsh policies are being chalked up to the growing disillusionment with China’s arbitrary wielding of violent power.
Innocent Corgi Beaten to Death
Among the more disgusting videos to be circulating around the internet show the lengths to which the CCP will prioritize their control of society over the basic decency of treating animals humanely. Both videos involve the Orwellian “health agents” (clad in fully anonymous Tyvek suits with respirators) bludgeoning small dogs to death to “stop the spread” of a relatively mild strain of coronavirus.
Viewers are warned that the following links contain very graphic images of the cold-hearted exterminations of innocent pets by Chinese State health workers.
In this montage video displayed by CNN, the Covid worker is seen wielding a spade shovel on the tiny dog just moments after its owner was taken away on a CCP bus.
In this clip, the Covid “health team” rounds up dead pets and ducks them into the back of a truck.
And in this shocking clip being circulated on Twitter, two more “Covid workers” are doing door-to-door home searches for Covid holdouts when they encounter a small dog. The footage then shows the soulless health officials beating the animal to death with a stick before shoving the limp corpse into a plastic bag.
Although deeply disturbing and evil, these unnecessarily punitive and cruel measures are garnering pushback from the usually docile and accepting citizenry.
Pushing Back Against CCP Overreach
Though Chinese officials have extended their lockdown policies, they have uncharacteristically relented on their family separation and pet execution containment strategies.
According to mainstream news outlets, the authorities in China (who rarely bow to public pressure) are caving to public outcry over their draconian COVID isolation policies. “Virus-positive kids being separated from their parents in the locked-down megacity of Shanghai appears to have brought an unusual policy change” where an official in Shanghai announced on Wednesday that “parents would be allowed to remain with their kids in mass-quarantine centers even if the parents themselves were not infected with the coronavirus.”
It seems as though even the CCP can be shamed into morality when millions of people openly question the government’s stances regarding pandemic management. When the policies are so absurd that even repressed Chinese citizens will speak out and revolt against excessive measures, it seems even the communists will listen.
There have also been reports and videos of Chinese citizens revolting against the food rationing process and the State’s punishment of millions of healthy and vaccinated citizens who are being subjugated for Party propaganda. As has been reported: “Crowds of residents were seen looting food parcels in one video posted to Weibo, while other clips showed furious mobs clashing with PPE-clad Covid prevention workers as they tried to break through barriers erected across the city.”

Little Evidence For Pet Killings
Even our overzealous CDC recommends against getting worried about Covid transmission between pets and owners. They acknowledge the risk of pets spreading the virus to people is very low and unworthy of serious consideration.
They advise the American public that they:
- Do not put masks on pets; masks could harm your pet.
- Do not wipe or bathe your pet with chemical disinfectants, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or other products, such as hand sanitizer, counter-cleaning wipes, or other industrial or surface cleaners. There is no evidence that the virus can spread to people from the skin, fur, or hair of pets.
- Talk to your veterinarian if you have questions about appropriate products for bathing or cleaning your pet.
So the absurdity of their anti-pet stance may have a silver lining for the Chinese patriots looking for freedom.
Their inspiring revolts against the communist powers in China are becoming a rallying call for liberty lovers across the Asian continent. You can help amplify their voices by sharing stories like these and rejecting authoritarianism in all its forms at home.
These people are acting very heroically in the face of harsh prison sentences and even death. Don’t let their sacrifices go unnoticed.
