Chinese Virus Playbook for Dem Politicians Based on Activist “Science” Group’s Extreme Projection

Democrats are currently gushing about certain projections coming from an activist organization called Covid Act Now, which is advising policymakers across the nation to take draconian steps to handle the current China virus crisis.

Judge Clay Jenkins, who implemented a shelter order for Dallas County on March 22, 2020, Tweeted on March 24, 2020, “Good morning,Texas. Here is an interactive map that prepared by science that shows their projections if we move as a state from your current order to the #StaySafeStayHome order I have implemented ⁦

However, journalist Jordan Schactel pointed out in a Twitter thread to remain skeptical about figures coming from this organization.

Quick thread: Fun facts about Covid Act Now, the org that is mobilizing press, politicians, & citizens to rally behind mass quarantine/lockdown: 1) They were founded by Dem activists. 1 of them, Igor Kofman, works full time to defeat Trump in 2020. Another is a Dem legislator.

Schactel believes that this organization is providing “junk data”:

2) Their models, which in retrospect have proven inaccurate, promised total healthcare system catastrophe if states did not enact immediate draconian measures to supposedly stop the spread of the virus. They are both providing junk data & pushing *their solutions* to the issue.

The journalist also mentions how lockdowns are no silver bullet to this crisis.

3) Important to note that lockdown has no consensus in the scientific community. In fact, exhaustive studies, both in US institutions and globally, have shown that quarantine/lockdown has never worked to stave off pandemics. So why is this org pushing Econ & societal lockdown?

Additionally, Schactel calls attention to the Imperial College projection that is now receiving “heavy scrutiny” from the scientific community:

4) Their models come 100% from Imperial College UK projection that is coming under *heavy* scrutiny from scientific community. IC UK produced the famed doomsday scenario that guaranteed 2MM dead Americans. The man behind the projections is refusing to make his code public.

The journalist then concluded by telling his followers to go on Google and do their own research:

5) Do a Google News search for “Covid Act Now” and u will find an endless stream of publications, both local & national, referencing the projections on the website. Let’s stop to the spread of fear mongering outfits w/ bad data & questionable motives like CovidActNow /End.

 

In times of such hysteria, it serves to do independent research and take anything coming from the mainstream media with a grain of salt. It’s likely biased and purposely slanted to attack President Donald Trump.
