CNN Attempts to Rehab Jeffrey Tubin After He Exposed Himself and Masturbated During a Zoom Call
Author Jeffrey Toobin is getting rehabbed by CNN after he was chased from the New Yorker for exposing himself during a Zoom call and masturbating in full view of his workmates.
CNN allowed Toobin on their airwaves on Thursday to grovel and appear sympathetic to the masses following his public disgrace.
“Obviously, I wasn’t thinking very well or very much. And it was something that was inexplicable to me. I think one point, I wouldn’t exactly say in my defense, because nothing is really in my defense. I didn’t think I was on the call,” Toobin said.
“I thought that I had turned off the Zoom call. Now, that’s not a defense. This was deeply moronic and indefensible. But, I mean, that is part of the story,” he added.
Toobin claims that he is remorseful and has been undergoing therapy over the past seven months to atone for his sins of being a public masturbator.
“I have spent the seven subsequent months, miserable months in my life, I can certainly confess, trying to be a better person. I mean, in therapy, trying to do some public service, working in a food bank, which I certainly am going to continue to do,” he said.
“I’m sorry to my current, fortunately, still colleagues at CNN. And I’m sorry to the people who read my work and who watched me on CNN who thought I was a better person than this,” Toobin continued.
“So, you know, I got a lot to rebuild, but I feel very privileged and very lucky that I’m going to be able to try to do that,” he added.
Big League Politics reported last year when Toobin got axed from his magazine after he unwittingly pulled it out and started pleasuring himself while his work colleagues watched:
“Jeffrey Toobin is known for his New Yorker writing and CNN commentating.
Jeffrey Toobin is much better known as that guy who masturbated on a Zoom call back in mid-October.
Upon conclusion of an investigation, The New Yorker has decided to fire Toobin. CNN had previously suspended him from any on air appearances.
Toobin tweeted Wednesday evening: “I was fired today by @NewYorker after 27 years as a Staff Writer. I will always love the magazine, will miss my colleagues, and will look forward to reading their work.”
… The Daily Beast obtained a memo written by Condé Nast chief people officer Stan Duncan. It reads: “I am writing to share with you that our investigation regarding Jeffrey Toobin is complete, and as a result, he is no longer affiliated with our company. I want to assure everyone that we take workplace matters seriously. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels respected and upholds our standards of conduct.”‘
CNN has no problem employing predators on their network. This is why they are considered the fake news leader and their ratings are cratering with Trump no longer in the White House.
