CNN Silent as 15 Shot in Gun Control Capital Chicago Over The Weekend

When black Americans in the inner cities are gunned down, the media is silent but they will certainly use the death of Muslim foreigners to divide us all

The fake news media loves to focus excessively on tragedies that can divide us and be used to further take away our rights. The New Zealand Mosque shootings has dominated the news cycle for days while another deadly weekend in the Windy City has been largely ignored.

The Chicago Sun Times reported on the tragic but all-too-familiar display of senseless gun violence:

Three people have been killed and at least 12 others wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday evening.

A double shooting Sunday afternoon left a man dead and a boy wounded in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. They were driving at 1:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 55th Street when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside started shooting, Chicago police said.

The man, 21, was shot in his head and later died at a hospital, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death. The boy, 16, was shot in the shoulder and treated at the same hospital, police said.

In another fatal shooting, a man was killed and a woman wounded early Saturday in the Avalon Park community on the South Side.

Bud Clarke, 34, and a woman were arguing with a man in the 8400 block of South Stony Island Avenue, authorities said. The argument turned physical and the man, 46, fired shots at them, police said. Clarke was struck in the chest and the woman, 51, in the ankle.

The city of Chicago celebrated “low” levels of violent crime in 2018 but still posted a murder rate higher than Los Angeles and New York City combined. The clueless leaders of the city credit anti-constitutional gun seizures and more federal gun control enforcement for this “success.”

“The correlation between gun seizures and gun arrests and the decline in homicides and shootings just simply cannot be overlooked,” Superintendent of Police Eddie T. Johnson said to reporters last year.

“Not only have we recovered more guns and made more gun arrests than we did in previous years, but we’ve also had more federal gun prosecutions. When people talk about the fact that we recover more [illegal weapons] than New York and LA combined, it’s not because we’re that much better than them, it’s because we have that much more volume of illegal weapons in this city,” Johnson added.

“There are too many guns on the street, too many people with criminal records on the street, and there is a shortage of values of what is right and what is wrong,” said Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who offered little more than cheap platitudes in response to the gun violence epidemic in Chicago.

The mainstream media and Democratic Party focus excessively on violence in far-away lands like New Zealand to further polarize society and divide individuals to weaken America.

They ignore violence in the homeland, particularly in Chicago where there are strong gun laws, because it does not suit their anti-American agenda. To the fake news, black lives apparently do not matter.

Arizona’s Maricopa County Declares Itself a Second Amendment Preservation County

Maricopa County is now the biggest 2nd Amendment Sanctuary county in the country.

Arizona’s Maricopa County officially declared itself a ‘Second Amendment Preservation County’ with a vote by its board of supervisors Wednesday, making the Phoenix-area county the largest jurisdiction in the nation to align itself with the growing Second Amendment Sanctuary movement.

Maricopa County includes the vast Phoenix metro area and a population of 4.3 million people. It’s the fourth largest county by population in the entire United States.

The Second Amendment Preservation declaration voted upon by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is largely a symbolic gesture. The resolution initially prevented any county funds from being used to infringe on gun rights, a provision that was dropped from the declaration.

The declaration states that the county supports the right to keep and bear arms by its residents.

Democratic Supervisor Steve Gallardo tried to stop the pro-Second Amendment declaration, stating that it was “divisive” and “partisan.” It comes as a surprise to many law-abiding Arizona gun owners that standing up for their basic Second Amendment rights is so divisive.

Arizona currently has some of the most permissive gun laws in the country for a medium-sized state, being rivaled only by other western states with much smaller populations. Current state law allows for residents to carry weapons openly or concealed without a permit from the state.

However, as new voters move to the state, it appears the state’s pro-Second Amendment culture may come under threat. Arizona Democrats continue to propose wide-ranging assault weapons ban and gun registration legislation, with a boldness some would’ve assumed to be political suicide previously in Arizona politics.

The state is genuinely trending purple, and a possible takeover of one chamber of the Arizona legislature by Democrats could put an assault weapons ban push in full swing. Arizona Governor Doug Ducey hasn’t inspired confidence among Second Amendment supporters, either, having pushed Red Flag judicial gun confiscation as robustly as any other governor in the country.
