Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert Introduced Bill to Halt Taxpayer-funded Abortions for Illegal Aliens Invaders

On December 15, 2022, Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert put forward a bill that aims to abolish taxpayer-funded abortions in the United States.
Jarryd Jaeger of The Post Millenial note observed that The “No Taxpayer Funds for Illegal Alien Abortions Act” came a month after the Biden regime directed federal officials overseeing pregnant unaccompanied illegal alien invaders to transport them from states with stringent abortion restrictions to those where the practice is allowed.
If Boebert’s legislation is passed, the bill would “prohibit any employee or contractor of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement or the Department of Health and Human Services from transporting any alien across State lines for the purpose of procuring an abortion for such alien.”
In addition, the bill bars funds authorized or appropriated via federal law from being used to pay for abortions or mandate anyone to carry out or facilitate abortions.
Jaeger highlighted the exceptions featured in Boebert’s bill:
Illegal migrants would be permitted to receive taxpayer-funded abortions in cases where carrying the fetus to term poses a risk to the mother’s life, as well as those where the pregnancy was the result of rape or incest.
Boebert criticized the Biden regime in a statement to the Daily Caller, where she proclaimed that the regime is “unlawfully using taxpayer money to transport pregnant, illegal alien children across state lines for late-term abortions.” She hopes that her bill will “end these illegal and horrific policies once and for all.”
“Our priority at the southern border should be security and peace, not death and destruction,” she continued.
The Biden regime’s recent guidance was published in November and came as a response to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which sent the abortion question back to the states to decide.
The guidance outlined how members at the Office of Refugee Resettlement “must not prevent [unaccompanied children] from accessing legal abortion-related services” and that they “must make all reasonable efforts to facilitate access to these services if requested by the [unaccompanied child].”
Boebert’s legislation is a solid first step. No sane polity would ever finance abortions — abominable acts — for illegal alien invaders. This is a cocktail of two of the most degenerate policies — infanticide and mass migration — that the cultural Left promotes.
That said, Boebert’s actions should be followed up with stronger immigration restriction measures such as ending birthright citizenship, ending chain migration, implementing E-Verify, and enacting an immigration moratorium.
If immigration is not contain, America, as we know it, will cease to exist it.
