Cori Bush On Biden Running Again: ‘I Don’t Want To Answer That Question’

Will there soon be drama in Democrat circles surrounding the 2024 election? It is certainly possible — a recent interview with Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) was quickly terminated after a reporter asked the far-left congresswomen if Joe Biden should go for a second bid at the White House.
The exchange occurred as Bush was being interviewed by Mark Maxwell, who according to The Post Millenial is a political editor at the local St. Louis NBC affiliate. Maxwell asked Bush if Biden ought to run again, to which she answered, “I don’t want to answer that question,” several times.
“She’s got to go!” announced a Bush aide.
“I—you know,” stuttered Bush.
“It’s an easy question, you know, it’s not going to take long,” Maxwell insisted. “Do you want to see Joe Biden run—”
“I don’t want to answer that question because we have not—that’s not—yeah, I don’t want to answer that question,” interrupted Bush.
Bush continued, “I mean, he’s the president, he has the right to run for a second term, absolutely but I don’t—I don’t wanna—I’d rather you not do that, answer the question.”
A Bush aide interjected once more, informing the congresswoman that she had to soon leave for another event. Bush promptly told Maxwell she had to “get to the other thing” before ending the interview.
The Missouri representative was not alone in her obfuscation of the Joe Biden question. Infamous squad member and friend of Bush Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) also dodged similar inquiries about the 2024 election.
“First of all, I’m focused on winning this majority right now and preserving a majority this year in 2022,” Ocasio-Cortez said when speaking about a potential Biden 2024 run. “So we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. But I think if the president has a vision, then that’s something certainly we’re all willing to entertain and examine when the time comes.”
Things do not appear to be faring well for Joe Biden within Democrat circles. A recent CNN survey released Tuesday found that only 31% of Demorcraft voters aged 45 and up want Biden to run in 2024 and that an even more pitiful 82% of Democrats under age 45 argued he should not shoot for a second term.
