COVER-UP: Reps. Gaetz, Gosar, Greene and Gohmert are Locked Out of Federal Prison Where Jan. 6 Protesters are Being Held

Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX) were locked out of a federal prison where Jan. 6 protesters are being held and reportedly tortured by authorities.

These four intrepid lawmakers have been the elected officials who have cried foul about the alleged mistreatment behind bars of Jan. 6 protesters, the vast majority of whom committed no violence and peacefully protested on that fateful day.

They were locked out of the facility when they attempted to enter:

Eventually, they were able to get in the lobby but reported hostile treatment from Capitol jail staffers and were not allowed to tour the facility:

After being locked out of the jail, Gaetz and Gohmert appeared with Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) for a press conference talking about the systemic injustices being doled out against Trump supporters as well as the attempted cover-up.

“Every day in America, people are locked in prison. It’s not every day that people are locked out of prison, which is what happened to multiple members of Congress today,” Gaetz said.

“We have two principle responsibilities: to appropriate funds and to conduct oversight. How does the Biden administration expect us to participate in the representative republic when they deprive us of access to information that would inform our oversight work and our appropriations decisions?” he asked.

Gaetz is demanding answers that the feds have stonewalled for months about Jan. 6 defendants being denied evidence. He is also concerned about a possible FBI role in setting up the entire event. He is demanding access to all of the surveillance videos showing what happened in and around the Capitol on that day.

“To get answers, we did what members of Congress normally do. We showed up at the facility and sought a tour. This happens for Republicans under Democrat administrations. It happened for Democrats under Republican administrations, and now there is an unprecedented effort to deny members of Congress information that relates to criminal cases and relates to the treatment of people who are held,” Gaetz said.

A clip from the press conference can be seen here:

Big League Politics has reported on the sham Jan. 6 hearings being held by Democrats in Congress who hope to bring the war on terror to the homeland and be used against their political opponents:

On Tuesday, the sham hearings about the mostly-peaceful protest in and around the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 began in the U.S. House, and they are even more revolting than expected.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called on Capitol Police officers who recited lines prepared to justify a sustained unconstitutional crackdown against Trump supporters. Having failed completely to secure the Capitol on Jan. 6, they want the focus off of their own incompetence on that fateful day.

DC Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone poured on the histrionics, comparing what he experienced that day to “Hell”…

DC Metropolitan Police Officer Daniel Hodges said that he considers Trump supporters as terrorists in his carefully choreographed testimony…

U.S. Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell recited partisan talking points on cue to demonize Trump on behalf of the Democrats in charge…

DC Metropolitan Police Officer Harry Dunn did his best Jussie Smollett impression, conjuring from whole cloth a story about evil MAGA racists that sounds like a yarn from a liberal cat lady’s Twitter page…

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), one of the worst Trump critics in the entire GOP, actually started weeping during the hearing…

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) attempted to muster tears while giving his testimony but could not produce them…

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who has consistently supported war crimes throughout the world, used the hearings to make the case to bring the war on terror home and use it against Trump supporters with Jan. 6 as a convenient excuse.”

These lawmakers, led by Gaetz, deserve credit for standing for liberty when most Republicans would prefer to be silent. The patriots of Jan. 6 were not terrorists, and the worst instances of violence on that day were committed by the Capitol police themselves.
