Crazy Lady Punches Former Police Officer at a Bar for Wearing MAGA-style Birthday Hat
A man’s birthday day turned violent at a Broadway bar.
On February 11, 2020, Daniel Sprague was at The Stage bar on Broadway wearing a gift his wife gave him for his 50th birthday celebration. The gift was a hat that says “Make 50 Great Again.” The hat has a style similar to the “Make America Great Again” hat that President Donald Trump supporters usually don.
“People were just coming up to me and, you know, just loving the little word play on the hat and taking pictures and wishing me happy birthday,” Sprague told News4.
However, for one woman at the bar, wearing this hat was an offensive gesture.
“At one point,” Sprague claimed, “A female came up from behind me, spun me around, and punched me in the face and then grabbed my hat off my head and was just yelling, ‘How dare you.'”
The punch ended up leaving a cut on Sprague’s face.
“People have different views, but we’re not supposed to take it out on each other,” Sprague said.
Sprague is a retired law enforcement officer from New York. He filed a police report after the woman attacked him.
Sprague commented on the situation:
‘Happy birthday’ would be nice, and not a punch in the face.
In today’s polarized political environment, incidents like these will be the norm.
The Left can’t handle the results of the 2016, and with the growing radicalization they’re experiencing, they’ll look to take out their anger on anyone who stands in their way.
It’s small wonder why many right-wing Americans stay armed, while the Left wants to have people disarmed.
Even law-abiding citizens having a good time are fair game in this case.
