Cuomo’s ‘Shocking’ Revelation: Quarantine Fails as Vast Majority of Coronavirus Hospital Patients Stayed Home

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo admitted a “shocking” discovery on Wednesday that a recent study has shown that a vast majority of coronavirus patients in his state became infected while obeying quarantine and staying home.
The study compiled preliminary data from over 100 hospitals throughout the state and involved over 1,000 patients. It found that 66 percent of COVID-19 admissions were patients who became sick while listening to the experts and sheltering at home. The second highest number of individuals admitted to hospitals to be treated for coronavirus came from nursing homes at 18 percent.
“If you notice, 18% of the people came from nursing homes, less than 1% came from jail or prison, 2% came from the homeless population, 2% from other congregate facilities, but 66% of the people were at home, which is shocking to us,” Cuomo said while addressing the public.
“This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,” he added. “We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”
This news shows that Cuomo has been misleading people with false information during his previous press conferences. He previously gave advice to New Yorkers that reassured them without merit.
“I was afraid that it was going to infect my family no matter what I did. We’re past that,” Cuomo said during a press conference that took place on April 13. “If you isolate, if you take the precautions, your family won’t get infected.”
The quarantine does not appear to be working, and now more virulent strains of coronavirus are emerging as the public lacks the herd immunity to fight back:
A group of scientists from the Los Alamos National Laboratory are warning of a new strain of the coronavirus disease that is more contagious than the original.
The scientists published their research into the new strain of the disease in a paper on Tuesday. They claim that the new form of coronavirus originated in Europe before spreading to the United States, and could in time prove to be even more dangerous.
The current general scientific consensus is that patients who have recovered from coronavirus cannot get sick with the disease a second time. The spread of a new strain of the virus could make it possible for humans with coronavirus antibodies to incur the viral disease a second time.
“The mutation Spike D614G is of urgent concern; after beginning to spread in Europe in early February, when introduced to new regions it repeatedly and rapidly becomes the dominant form. Also, we present evidence of recombination between locally circulating strains, indicative of multiple strain infections. These finding have important implications for SARS-CoV-2 transmission, pathogenesis and immune interventions.”
The bureaucrats and the supposed experts have recommended guidelines that could ultimately be a death sentence for millions of Americans.
