Democrats In The United States House Hold Roundtable Discussion on “Nationwide Gun Emergency”

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin held a roundtable discussion on November 13, 2023 to talk about the so-called “nationwide gun emergency.”

According to a report by Nebraska Examine, Raskin began the roundtable discussion by stating, “We’re going to examine the nationwide gun emergency that’s taking place, the endless rounds of gun violence and massacres that are plaguing our society.”

Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost participated in the discussion, and he suggested the firearm industry is scared by the changing demographics of gun control advocates: “The gun lobby is more afraid, now more than ever, as they see a multiracial, multigenerational army of Americans who are not willing to relent from the demand for common sense gun reform.” Frost, who is 26 years old, is seen as one of the youth posterchildren of Gun Control Inc. He will likely play a major role in advancing civilian disarmament schemes from here on out.

For the anti-gun left, gun violence is an “epidemic” that requires a medical intervention of sorts aka gun control to handle. The fact is that there are more lawful citizens owning guns than criminals. Disarming Americans en masse just guarantees that only the criminals will have guns.

If we’re being honest, the rising gun violence problems the US is experiencing is more of a criminal justice problem where lax policing and criminal punishment standards abound. If we want to solve these issues, passing more law & order and more pro-gun measures not gun control will solve the gun problem and make our communities safer.
