Department of Defense Escalates Their Patriot Purge, Banning Dissemination of All ‘Extremist’ Materials From Military Personnel

The Pentagon has issued a ban on the dissemination of all “extremist” materials from military personnel, in a directive that will inevitably be used to purge more patriots from their ranks.

According to their new policies, any “posting, liking, sharing, re-tweeting, or otherwise distributing content” believed to be “extremist” will be considered “active participation” in an “extremist” activity.

The new rules also prohibit “knowingly displaying paraphernalia, words, or symbols in support of extremist activities or in support of groups or organizations that support extremist activities, such as flags, clothing, tattoos, and bumper stickers, whether on or off a military installation.”

Pentagon brass is being deliberately vague in how they define these “extremist” materials. The ban certainly will not be used to restrict critical race theory or pro-LGBT messages, which is now the official dogma of the ruling class.

“We believe only a very few violate this oath by participating in extremist activities, but even the actions of a few can have an outsized impact on unit cohesion, morale and readiness — and the physical harm some of these activities can engender can undermine the safety of our people,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said.

“This isn’t about political leanings or partisan inclinations. It’s about activity. It’s about prohibited extremist activity and active participation in that activity,” Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said.

“A lot of this is going to be the responsibility of commanders and commanders will have to make that call on their own in terms of what they believe is the right thing to do,” he added, calling for commanders to issue an Orwellian dragnet of sorts to snoop on active-duty military personnel.

Big League Politics has reported on how the Pentagon is working with anti-American thought control groups like the Anti-Defamation League and Southern Poverty Law Center to combat supposed extremism among the military ranks:

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced on April 9 that the Pentagon would start a Countering Extremism Working Group to root out so-called extremists from the Armed Forces.

The group has assembled a team of bipartisan authorities to provide consult on different extremist operations. Two of these authorities are the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League, organizations that lobby Congress to destroy the 1st Amendment and push tech giants to institute Big Brother censorship.

“The Countering Extremism Working Group (CEWG) would like to partner with experts on counter extremism and counter terrorism to better understand the scope of the problem and inform the 90-day report for the Secretary of Defense. These experts may come from advocacy groups, academia, and other areas that contribute the to the fight against terrorism,” an internal document obtained by The Intercept states.

Two of the conservative groups added to the CEWG to supposedly balance things out would be the Middle East Media Research Institute and First Liberty Institute. That the Pentagon would even attempt to provide a facade of an even-handed proceeding has outraged the Far Left.

“While it is unclear which of the individuals or groups mentioned in the Pentagon document will end up consulting, there are signs that some already have been doing so,” The Intercept reporter Ken Klippenstein wrote of the CEWG document they obtained.

These despicable actions desecrate the legacy of every hero who has ever served.
