DeSantis To Doctors Who Perform Transgender Surgeries For Kids: It’s Time To ‘Get Sued’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been leading the GOP charge against medical transition surgeries for children. A dangerous trend that is forcing itself into the mainstream thanks to various corporate press outlets and determined activists who insist on normalizing the procedures.

The same people who urged all Americans to “trust the science” over the past two years of the COVID-19 pandemic are now telling us that transgender surgeries for minors are vital in providing “gender-affirming care” for the nation’s youth.

Even while more information comes out about these procedures being harmful to children.

For example, the FDA just recently placed a stark warning on puberty blockers for minors because of brain swelling, loss of vision, and serious risks for children injecting the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH).

DeSantis is taking these findings seriously and said during a press conference this week that doctors who perform transgender surgeries on “very young kids” should be to be held legally liable for their actions.

The sunshine state gov. also slammed the political Left’s “gender-affirming care” claim.

“But they don’t tell you what that is, is they are actually giving very young girls double mastectomies, they want to castrate these young boys,” DeSantis insisted. “That’s wrong, and so we’ve stood up and said both from the health and children well-being perspective, you don’t disfigure 10, 12, 13-year-old kids based on gender dysphoria.”

“Eighty percent of it resolves anyways by the time they get older,” DeSantis continued. “So why would you be doing this?”

“I think these doctors need to get sued for what’s happening,” DeSantis concluded.

DeSantis wants to attack the confusion being cast upon young children who may be confused about their gender because of the propaganda being hurled onto them as a result of the transgender movement.

According to a new report from the Williams Institute, a research organization based at the UCLA School of Law, the number of younger teenagers who identify as transgender has nearly doubled in the U.S. over the last few years.

In fact, the number of transgender people aged 13 to 17 in the U.S. is almost twice what it was in 2017.

Leaders like DeSantis are noticing this drastic trend, and calling out voices who see nothing wrong with these numbers like the Biden administration and ADM Rachel Levine.

For instance, a new proposal would require insurance companies to cover the costs of transgender surgeries. And would apply to Obamacare health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

It would include puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries that make a person’s body look more like the opposite sex.

America needs more voices like DeSantis to tackle this growing cultural trend head-on.
