Director of National Intelligence Gets Slapped With Lawsuit Sued For Online Censorship Record
Right-wing watchdog organization Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the United States Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) in search of transparency over alleged social media censorship. The lawsuit in question, Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, was spurred by an Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request made in May 2023 that was ultimately ignored.
The lawsuit’s principal aim is for the National Counterterrorism Center to turn over records and communications, especially those dealing with the Foreign Malign Influence Center. Some of the information that Judicial Watch wants to get its hands consist of organizational charts, descriptions of positions, annual budgets, and correspondence with social media giants such as Facebook, Instagram, Meta, Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube, with respect to “foreign influence operations,” “misinformation,” and “disinformation.” The lawsuit also looks to find out about the policies, procedures, and strategic plans created that both governmental and non-governmental bodies were able to create.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton had long been a critic of the Biden Regime. He recently accused it of making an effort to resurrect “domestic thought police deep inside the heart of America’s spy agencies.”
The American intelligence community is as depraved as they come. It should be treated with utter scorn and contempt.
There’s no coexisting with such an unconstitutional and pernicious body. Judicial Watch’s lawsuits should be commended. However, more decisive action will need to be taken so that the American intelligence community gets the memo that its behavior is not welcome.
